My Monday daydreaming continues, and this time it’s all about Paris. To be honest my head is filled with endless numbers right now as I’m finishing my accounting work, and since I don’t have any fun pictures to share I thought this would be a good time to share these last pics from Paris, haha. But they do get my daydreamin’ on! As you can tell, my Monday isn’t very exciting – I’m trying to finish all boring work so that it won’t hang over me like a dark cloud for the rest of the week.
I’ll keep up the good (boring) work for a few more hours, then it’s time to prepare for tomorrow trip to Denmark. Eirín and I are going just for the day, and even though it will be short it will be oh-so-sweet with a girls trip! I promise to take lots of pictures and share with you guys, but I thought I’d pick your brains a little too, and hear if you have any wish posts for this week? It’s not always easy to keep the creativity up when there’s a thousand things going on, so if you have any wishes please share♥

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the hotel we stayed at in Paris (oh hello – perfect view), so I thought I’d do a post on it! We were both so incredibly happy with our stay. The location was perfect, with a ten minute walk to the Eiffel tower, and tons of cafés and restaurants right outside our door. We ended up eating at the sushi place right down the street two nights, such yummy sushi! What made us pick this hotel was the super cool interior design, and I must say, it looked even better in real life than on the pictures! This is the front door, and above is the lounge room next to the reception desk.

We had three balcony doors which led to separate balconies – and all were ours!

The name of the hotel is First Hotel Paris Eiffel Tower, and I recommend it super duper much♡

I wouldn’t mind enjoying my morning coffee here every single day! Our balcony was just so sick, with the most magical view. Not the best light to work with, but I hope you liked the pictures! Today’s coffee is being enjoyed at my dining room table, where I’ve set up a little home office station for the day. It’s Monday, two weeks until my book comes out, and it’s time to get back to business! Now I’ve had enough fun and play for a while, and I’m ready to put my serious pants on! I feel like both the fun mode and the serious mode are equally important. I can’t do my best and really focus unless I get a timeout once in a while, and I can’t really enjoy myself if I don’t have anything to take a timeout from. Remember that when you’re stressed out about work or studies – it’s perfectly OK, and in fact necessary, to take a break for fun and play, and fill up with fresh energy. Have a lovely and productive Monday girlies♡

Some snapshots from lovely Paris♡ What a fantastic day! On Wednesday we started the morning with a yummy breakfast and ice cold white wine at a street café, then we walked around for hours. We walked from the hotel past Ecole Militaire, which roughly translates to army school. The building is insanely huge and beautiful! From there we walked through the park and to the Eiffel Tower, enjoyed the view for a bit and headed over the bridge across the Seine where Palais de Chailott greeted us with its beauty. Then we walked along the Seine, past amazing attractions like the Grand Palais the Champs Elysees, before we arrived at Jardin de Tuileries and the Louvre. This was such a beautiful walk, which I definitely recommend if you’re ever in Paris. We weren’t up for standing hours in line in big crowds to see any attractions, we just strolled around gazing from a distance.

This is one of my absolute favorite moments from our Paris trip! We had been walking around in 30 degrees sightseeing all day, and suddenly we got really tired, sweaty and so ready to relax with some wine and yummy snacks. Our plan was to do a little picnic in Jardin de Tuileries, but when we got there it was so crowded, and I mean.. We had this balcony at our disposal! The choice was easy, so we hopped in a cab, grabbed some wine, cheese and crackers from a grocery store and sat here all Wednesday afternoon. So freakin’ romantic! I love traveling with my man, it’s just so nice to be just the two of us, without all the everyday life distractions we have at home. So lovely!
Good morning babes, and thank you so much for all the birthday wishes yesterday! I had a fantastic birthday, and now we’re headed home. I don’t want to leave at all! I’ve taken so many pictures that I can’t wait to share with you guys, but I’ll have to go through them all on the plane ride home. Here’s a little peak on my favorite new skirt, I’ll share better outfit pictures later! Have a lovely day sweets♡
