The weekend trip with my man is booked, and the destination is Copenhagen, yay! I love Copenhagen, such a charming and cosy city. We’re leaving super early tomorrow, we have a taxi picking us up at 4am! I’m a bit nervous about that part, but I know we’re gonna have the best weekend. In the beginning of our relationship I actually gave him weekend trips to Copenhagen for Christmas three years in a row, so it’s gonna be so nice to be back there together.
Earlier this week I got both new lash extensions and did my roots. As always, Rune at Digg Hair Studio did my hair perfectly, he’s the best in Bergen for sure. Highly recommended! You can reach Digg at 55321111.
The lashes are done by Karen Austin, the same woman who did my sister’s lashes for her wedding (check out the post and read more about her here). She’s such a sweet lady, talented and a quick worker. You can reach Karen at 46 90 78 81, or at 1karenaustin@gmail.com. She works at both Haukeland Medi-Spa and Boutique Messegue at Nesttun, which is where I went. I can’t even tell you how good it feels to wake up with lashes like these, now I just spend like five minutes in front of the mirror in the mornings. Especially before a trip, that’s gold!
At Digg Hair Studio I also got a refill of my favorite shampoo and conditioner, and a new round brush. This thing is so genius, because when you blow dry your hair, the brush holds the same temperature as the blow dryer, meaning that the drying process goes much quicker. It also has this fun little thingy in the end which you can part your hair with. You can find it at the hair salon, but there weren’t many left!
Now I’m gonna start packing, and if any of you have good Copenhagen tips for us that would be awesome!! I would especially love to get tips on restaurants, both for lunch and dinners. And also just fun things to do besides shopping. I counting on you guys for some good tips on this one♥

You should go to the Atlas bar (Larsbjørnsstræde 18) to eat. It’s delicious and the staff is really friendly.
Also it’s close to the main shopping street and in the street of the Atlas bar, there are some quite cool vintage shops.
And the Livingroom Café, which is just opposite Atlas, is also a must.

Hi Cath..
How nice that you love Copenhagen so much. I’m born and raised in Copenhagen so of course that’s my fave city.
I’ve recently discovered “The Yogurt Shop” which is near by “Kongens Nytorv” at Ny Adelgade. You pick some yogurt and then you’ll get, berries, nuts and fruits on it. It’s SO YUM!
On tips on restaurants I recommend:
Dalle Valle
Vesuvio
Rimini
Cafe Stella
Cafe G
Sticks ‘n Sushi
You may know New Habour where all the tourist boats are sailing from. It’s really nice to go for a walk and have a big icecream – YUM! If you like animals you’d probably love the Zoo..
Hope you guys enjoy the trip :-)

Well, I don’t know if you like cupcakes, but there is this really lovely cupcake place, called Serenity Cupcakes. It’s a nice little place, with cute decoradings. And the people there are so nice! :)
Also Café Pixie is so nice! Lovely food, especially their brunch, yum! And if you are looking for another nice café, there is also The Laundromat Café. It’s really cozy :)
Love xx

I’m from Copenhagen, and if you’re planning on going to the movies, I’d definitely recommed going to “Grand Teatret” The adress is Mikkel Bryggers Gade 8 (It’s a side street to “strøget” and very close to city hall). It’s super cosy and small, I love going there! Other than that, there’s “Den blå planet” which is a new and very big aquarium. Christiania is a must-see as well – for turists especially ;-) So unless you’ve already been there, I think it’s a pretty fun place to see. As to food, I’d recommed “Nørrebro Bryghus” where the beer is brewed in the middle of the restaurant and they use Danish commodities for the food :-)
I hope that gave you an idea of what to do!
Have a nice trip, maybe I’ll see you somewhere haha :-)

Would definitely recommend Tea Time at Nørrebro for lunch, RizRaz near Rundetårn (they have a huge vegetarian buffet) and the Livingroom Café. All the places are so cozy!
I really love your skirt and the eyelashes, they look perfect!

Hey Cathrine.
If you want to experience a more cosy and local part of Copenhagen than “Strøget” and all the other touristy places, you really should consider going to the part of Copenhagen called “Nørrebro” – especially the streets “Jægersborggade” and “Stefansgade”. Such charming streets! They’re not shopping streets at all, but they’re perfect if you want to have a cup of coffee or a lunch in cosy surroundings. The same goes for the part of Copenhagen called “Christianshavn” – there are always a lot of young people and I guarantee you that the beautiful streets, the unique mood and the water channels will make you fall even more in love with this beautiful city.

Thank you so much, will definitely check it out!! :)

Dere må dra til Pastis- en superromantisk fransk restaurant ved Nyhavn! Nydelig mat og vin, perfekt for par, med en trendy og variert crowd. Kan være lurt å bestille bord:)

I live in Copenhagen, and I simply adore the city; it’s so wonderful! I would recommend the raw food café “Raw 42” on Pilestræde (http://42raw.dk/) – it’s very close to all the shopping options. Healthy and delicious food!

Selvfølgelig, skal prøve å få tatt masse bilder i den fine byen :) <3

Like some of the other girls said, you should definately try visiting the part of Copenhagen called Nørrebro, the culture there is so much different from what you see downtown :)

HI there :0)
I’m also from Copenhagen and I would suggest, that if you have any time for tanning at all while you are in the wonderful Copenhagen, I would absolutely without a doubt visit the green area called “Bryggen/islands Brygge”, which is a harbourfront area in central Copenhagen, located on the north-western coast of Amager (all taxi drivers know where it is, and it takes 5-10 minutes drive from the central of Copenhagen). Every summer all the young people gathers there and lay in the sun all day drinking wine or coffee and a lot comes to barbecue during the evening.
Ps. I absolutely LOVE your blog and you girly girl and feminin style!!!

Gooood tur <3.

God tur!

Good idea going to Copenhagen! :-)
If you don’t have any plans tonight, two cool women are giving a concert in beautiful Tivoli. It is Fallullah (the AWESOME danish singer) and Marie Key and it’s going to be great. It’s only about 120 DKK each pr ticket, so really a nice experience for cheap money.
I know i’m going!
No matter what, have a great weekend in our lovely city :-)

I live in Copenhagen and I love to eat out. I know one of your reader recommended Dalle Valle, but in my oponion this place is very cheap and you get what you pay for… Defiantly not worth visiting compared to so many other great places in Copenhagen.
If you want to taste great food Höst is defiantly a place to visit. It’s not far from Nørreport station, you can probably look it up. Sticks’n’sushi is defiantly also worth trying if you like sushi.
At Gråbrødre Torv there also many good restaurants. One is an old Tram, so sweet.
I also think you shoud go to Nyhavn if you haven’t been there. It’s such a nice place, especially during the summer. It’s very old buildings with restaurants in the habour. It’s close to Kongens Nytorv. A place in Nyhavn called Hyttefadet is very popular among norwegians (I know, I work there ;-) )
I would defiantly also recommend the Yoghurt Shop. It is so yummy you will never eat ice cream again.
Of things to do, Tivoli is defiantly a classic thing to see (if you haven’t seen it) or go to Botanisk garden. So pretty with all the colourful flowers.
Hope this can help you and your boyrfriend.
Have a great trip :)

Hei! Har lest bloggen din lenge, men første gang eg kommenterer. Må først seie at eg syns du har en kjekk og inspirerande blogg!
Eg lurer på kor mykje det kosta for vippe-extensions? Og kor lenge dei varer? :)

I think the area around “Nyhavn” is so charming with the old colorful houses, boats and the water, and also it’s right by “Skuespillerhuset” and the Opera House – both two really interesting buildings. And I’m pretty sure there is a boat right by Skuespillerhuset, that you can take for a tour around the canal, which is fun when the weather is good :)
