Today I had a full day planned. It was supposed to begin with getting new lash extensions in the morning, meeting up with Amalie to shoot outfit pictures, then a meeting with the bank, a Skype meeting, then the day was supposed to end with hanging out with my friends for a girls’ night in. Well, that didn’t happen. I’ve been feeling pretty weird for a couple of days, and I haven’t been able to sleep. When I got up this morning, I knew that there was nothing I could do but cancel my day and lay flat on the couch. I was sweating like a monster even with every window in the house open, and my pulse was banging through my chest in such a horrifying speed. I was so dizzy and disoriented, my whole body was shaking and I knew I was seconds away from throwing up. If I tried to stand up, the room was spinning around me and I only saw dots everywhere. It was actually very very scary. The last time I had those symptoms I ended up passing out and banging my head right into the washing machine, so I just layed on the couch and tried to breath calmly. It’s finally starting to go away now, but that’s the reason for my absence today. I hope this was just a one-time thing, otherwise I’ll go straight to the doctor tomorrow. Even though I’m not in the best shape today, I hate to go a day without updating my blog, so I thought a little Throwback Tuesday might be fun? These are all pictures from the summer of 2011 which I spent in New York City. I can’t believe how blessed I’ve been to be able to experience this! So many amazing memories..


Apparently I was very into my pink ballerina skirt and green sweater that summer, hah. Anywho, working for myself like I do, and especially when starting up a whole new business, there’s no such thing as a day off, so now that I’m feeling a little better I have to get some work done. Several top secret documents need to be written, and I also need to plan work trips to London, Paris, Oslo and Manchester for the coming month. I hope you’ve all had a great day, and I’m hoping to come back stronger tomorrow♥

  3. I og med at du spiser lchf burde du virkelig ta deg en tur til legen når du har sånne symptomer. En i familien min ble innlagt med alvorlige skader på nyrene noen uker siden som en direkte følge av lavkarbo kosthold. Han hadde samme “greie” som deg at han hadde høy puls, utrolig svimmel og kvalm og bare kolapset. Det var da han ble innlagt og fikk vite det om nyrene sine. Han ble skikkelig syk og var innlagt lenge.

    Vil virkelig annbefale deg å ta en tur til legen, og gjerne revurdere lavkarboen…

  4. Jeg har hatt en lang pause fra LCHF nå, men begynte igjen på mandag, så forhåpentligvis er det bare kroppen som omjusterer seg litt.. Men hvis det skjer igjen skal jeg selvfølgelig oppsøke lege. Håper det går bra med familiemedlemmet ditt!

  14. Tusen takk kjære deg. Det er utrolig gøy å starte opp/drive for seg selv altså! Mange stressfaktorer og man har ikke akkurat noen sikkerhet, men det er vanvittig gøy :) Jeg ville ikke startet noe selv med mindre du er helt sikker på hva, og brenner for det du vil gjøre. Men kanskje det dukker opp med tiden? :) Go for it! Klem
