FETT!
Seriously Cathrine.
I was like crying when i saw your grandmothers pictures it remined me so of my own grandgrandmother… Beautyfull, lovely, full of life, and the nicest smile in the world!
I think its so sad when someone is leaving and we dont know when we will meet them again (maybe in heaven, if its a place like that for us all?) but i get so emochinal when i see old people, i dont know why, i just think its something with that they look so much more innocent then other, same as with babys. i cannot explane it, its just like that, when i see old people, i get sad……. my beautiful and most amazing grandgrand mother that became 98 years old also died last year, and i was not in the country she lived at the moment and had no time to get there to the furnual, and every single day i regret it! Because she was the one that took care of me when i was a little girl, but then i had to move to another country and not see here for many years, untill one day, she was arround 90 or something like that, she flew from the other side of the world just to come and see her grandchildren… thats like insaine… in a age of that, but she was still healty at that moment and could walk and everything. but then after a while, she got more and more sick when she was 96 i think, and i never had the time to go and see here, or i did not have the money, because i was still only 16 and just in school… and then, last year 2 months before she passed away, i had not talked to her at the phone for a while, and then i skyped with her with (my aunt that we rented to take care of here for us), and you have no idea, the minutte i just saw my granny, i was like crying like a baby, and also the same as im crying when im writing this, because its really sad. . and i could not speak, i was just crying and crying, and she was also crying, that made me so sad, just to only get to see my granny at the skype, but not in real. she showed me that she had dyied here hair to black because she felt old with all white hair, and that made me so happy! and 2 months after that, one day my grandmother came into my room and said that they have called to say that she have passed peacefully in her bed, i was out of words… i could not cry…. i could not understand why i did not cry….. but then i called my roomate and told her, and the tears just where running like a waterfall, and i was like crying like i never had before. i was so sad, i felt so alone… and also se my grandmother crying over her mothers death just made it wors.. we where stuck here in norway, and she was at the other side of the world.. But lucky we have a LOT of family there, since my grandgrand have 11 children!!! and even more grandchildren. hehe. And also, do you know what made things even harder for me dealing with her death was? is that i feel SO bad, and have so much regrets in my heart and also so angry at myself that i randomly had the money and had the time to go to where we are from 5 months AFTER shes gone. Thats like a mystery i will never know, that “why im a able to go there when shes dead and not when i had all this 13 years before she was!” you have no idea how bad i feel. and the most horrible and hardest part to deal with is that my aunt asked me for some moths ago that if i remember that my granny asked me in the Skype-conversation (that i had with here 2 moths before her past away that when she die) that if i will come to here furnual and send here to heaven?……..” and you know what, i was speacheless…. because i did not hear her say that!!! so when my aunt asked, do you think i even had words to answear that question? ……. Thats one of the things i will never forgive myself for… so you have no idea how lucky you are to be by her side when she is leaving this world, your really lucky to be able to be a part of that “goodbye…”
Im proud of you and please stay strong,
love 20 year old reader of yours.
I have 3 tattoo’s on my wrist. I have to say the ones on my lower wrist right above where my hands start was sooooo painful. I had to take a break. I have one a little above that and it was a breeze. You are a brave girl!
OMG!!!
Hei Cathrine!
:-)
I’m pretty sure that you got something to remember your grandmother by :) Or am I wrong? But it’s the best place to get a tatoo. I have one on my neck, but wrist is on the list for this spring :D Hugs beautiful <3
Hei Cathrine!
