It’s time to share some snapshots from Oslo, which has almost become a weekly thing here on the blog, haha. Everything blog and fashion related happenes there, but I refuse to move! After my next upcoming trips to Oslo and London I plan to say no to everything, no matter how fun it is. Then it’s time to get in exam mode, it’s crazy how fast time flies! I slept at my favorite hotel in Oslo, Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania, and I’m always super happy with the rooms I get there but this time I was like.. WOWZA!!! My suite was a freakin’ castle, and if I could move in here I’d move to Oslo in a heartbeat. I can’t even describe to you how luxurious it felt to have this whole suite all to myself, so I’ll let a picture bonanza do most of the talking..
My castle was huge, it had two floors, two bathrooms, a private sauna, to televions, a kitchen, and pretty much everything I could ask for and beyond.
Queen of the castle, yeah! At least for a night, haha.
As you know I didn’t bring my computer, which I regreted at first because I suddenly had a few hours at the hotel before I was meeting the girls for dinner. But not bringing the computer was actually so smart! I put my favorite music on on full blast, poured myself a couple of glasses of wine, and just sat in the couch and took everything in, with no technology to distub me. Except from my phone, hah. Magical!
I love stairs like these!! This suite is called ‘Christianiasuiten’ if any of you want to book it for a special day♥
Yes, I had a lot of fun with the selftimer during my free hours, hah.
By the way, if you’re wondering why I have my phone in my hand on all the pics, there’s a good reason! All the pictures are taken with my Olympus Pen camera, which has the smartest self timer system ever! Seriously. I connect my phone to the camera via the built in wifi on the camera, and on the app ‘OI. Share‘ I choose the self timer option. I put my camera somewhere, and I can actually see what the camera lens captures on my phone! When I’m happy with the picture I just click the screen, and a photo is taken on my camera. I always try to explain this to people and end up showing them, because it’s so hard to explain, but I hope you understand. It’s so ridiculously smart, and I cannot understand how it’s possible, but I’m loving it. At the same app I can also import my favorite snapshots straight to my phone so they can be posted straight to Instagram. A must for all bloggers out there! Or just for those of you who enjoy taking pictures of yourself (there’s no shame in that).
After the self timer bonanza of the year, I met up with my darlings Lene and Annette for a nine course dinner at Dinner. Dinner is a fabulous asian restaurant, which is great if you like Asian food, which I don’t, haha. But I was actually pleasantly surprised by some of the dishes, so I definitely like some Asian food now. And the drinks were so good!
The next morning Annette and I overslept for breakfast, but lucky me got to indulge in their luxurious lunch buffet in stead. So much yummy food!
After this I headed to the Britney event which I’ve already showed you pictures of. What a fun 24 hours! I wish I had more time in the castle slash suite though, but I just feel so lucky that I got to spend a night there, and on top of it all having a sleepover there with one of my favorite girls, Annette.
Today is way less fancy, and even though I love all the glitz and glam that sometimes comes with the blog, nothing beats being home in my sweats with no makeup and my hair in a bun on a Sunday afternoon. Now I’m off to a family dinner celebrating my sister’s birthday, I hope you’re all enjoying the day♥
