Denim shirt: Rails // Skirt: Topshop // Bag: MOO // Sandals: Here (adlink)

Hi lovelies, and happy new week! During summer I don’t even know which day it is most of the time, but after scrolling down my Instagram feed and seeing all the quotes about how Mondays require extra coffee and what not, I figure it must be the first day of the week. I don’t mind at all though, because I’ve been looking forward to this week for so long. On Saturday we’re off for Kristiansand to enjoy a week at my family’s summer house, which is always the highlight of the summer for me. Or, scratch that, the highlight of the year!

This is yesterday’s look, I love my new denim shirt so much. I’m sorry if my blog is a bit slow right now by the way, I’m simply enjoying life, love, summer, friendships and the amazing weather so much. It feels nice to be in somewhat of a vacation mode, even though I’m still updating my blog. I hope you don’t mind that I’m doing 1-2 posts a day, in stead of 2-3 like I usually do. I hope you’re all enjoying summer as muh as I am♥

Rosettes

4 Comments | Fashion

Budget finds are always fun, especially when they’re super chic in addition to being budget friendly. My latest budget find is this rosette sweater from Ebay, which I just love. I already have it in white, and I’ve worn it so much, so it was time to order it in black too. These are inspired (uh, copied) by American Apparel’s rosette sweater, but I actually prefer the knockoff. These are much lighter and more comfortable in my opinion. You can find the sweater here.

Now it’s weekend time, and I’m off for my brother’s summer house with my boyfriend and family. Have a good one lovelies♥

Hi lovebugs! I totally forgot to post the rest of the outfit pictures that we shot last week, so here they are. I’m so in love with this bag! And the sandals have become such favorites already.

Today is another lovely summer day here in Bergen, it’s so hot and sunny out. Unfortunately for me I have a few hours left of accounting work to do, and I can’t wait to be done with it. I booked a lash extensions appointment later as a little reward, I’m just so addicted to it! It’s actually pretty bad when you feel like you don’t look like yourself without false eyelashes on, hah. But that’s the way it is now. I feel so naked without them, so I can’t wait to get fresh ones on.

Have a lovely day you guys♥

The Denim Shirt

20 Comments | Fashion

One of the upsides with being a blogger is that checking the mail box is usually way more fun than for non-bloggers. Usually there’s some fun surprises waiting for me, and today it was this amazing denim shirt from Rails. I’m not really a shirt girl (I feel like my neck gets so short in shirts, hah! #firstworldproblems) but this one had a perfect loose fit, and the fabric is oh-so-soft. The brand is new to me, but it’s evidently a huge celebrity fave. Shay Mitchell (my secret girl crush), the Kardashian clan ++ all love the brand.

My preferred styling..

Here’s a closeup of my pretty necklace which I had almost forgotten all about. It’s from Sachin + Babi, and even though it’s super pretty I never wear it. I’m considering selling it, leave a comment if you’re interested :)

Other than that, I’ve been outside all day and it’s been so great. I’ve done a super tough mountain hike, and now my boyfriend and I are about to set up a romantic barbecue outside for a little mid-summer date night. I hope you’re all enjoying these days, weeks and months of summer. Remember, we go all year waiting for these exact days, so remember to make the most out of them♥

Stripes & Leather

On days when you don’t know what to wear, stripes is always the answer! It’s so chic and gives me a Parisian vibe, which reminds me I should really visit Paris soon. It’s been too long! Anywho, this striped crop top is a must in any girl’s wardrobe, and it’s super budget friendly too. This is probably more of a fall outfit than summer outfit, but that’s because fall has arrived in Bergen already. Rain, wind and grey skies, in July! This is so bad. Hopefully summer will return asap, this just isn’t working for me. Oh well, have a lovely day you guys♥

Summer Night Look

18 Comments | Outfits

Norwegian summer nights can be magical and warm, but as soon as the sun goes down the goosebumps start to appear. A leather jacket to throw over your shoulders is perfect for that, so that was a must for me at last night’s girls night at Fride’s terrace. Other than that, I wore two new buys which I’m in love with, this skirt and top from BikBok. I wear so many high waisted skirts, so I can never get enough crop tops. Tucking in long tops in thin highwaisted skirts doesn’t always look that cute, so halleluja for crop tops! This skirt will be worn plenty this summer too, it’s so casual and comfortable. The bag is my oldie but goodie from Alexander Wang, the hat is new from Lindex and the shoes are old from Zara :)
