These stormy days make me long for summer so badly..
Hi superstars! How has you Monday been so far? Mine has been so great! I had the whole week filled up with work, and today’s plan was for my boyfriend and I to shoot three different outfits for Lagunen’s magazine, to do the whole ‘blogger’ theme all the way. Because there’s a crazy storm outside that had to wait until tomorrow, and suddenly I had the whole day off. I’ve caught up on lots of work, and I just got home from the best run. You know when you’re just on fire, and just run and run without even getting short of breath? Well, that was me today, and I felt amazing. I ran much longer than planned, and even sprinted up and down a few steep hills I found on my way. If there’s anything I truly want to get better at, it’s running. I have such great inspiration in my parents, who have run more marathons than I have dresses in my closet, no joke! My mom even represented Norway in the 100 kilometer run in the European Championship, craaazy. While I was running, I was thinking about how fun it would be to do a little challenge with you guys, so we can run as a team sort of, and improve together. Wouldn’t that be fun? I could ask my mom to set up a beginner’s program, seeing how she’s the marathon queen, and a physical therapist in addition to that. I don’t know, if it’s something you’re keen on, I’ll definitely set it up. But if you’re tired of reading about workouts and exercise everywhere else online, I totally get it. I’m thinking maybe one post a week about it tops.
While we’re (or okay, I am) talking about exercise; I just ended my membership at the gym, haha. It’s sort of a downer, but I just have to be honest with myself – It’s not for me. I love nature so much, and I’d much rather be outside sweating and working my butt off, than inside in a crowded gym. I don’t even care if it’s pouring down rain while I’m exercising outside, I just find it refreshing and beautiful. Right now I just got out of a hot shower, and with the most amazing feeling in my body I’m off to the tanning salon, then to a girls’ night with Amalie. I almost never visit the tanning salons because of the cancer hazards, but now that I have three photo shoots in the coming days (two for the magazine, and one for a newspaper), plus a video I have to make for a cool podcast show, some fresh color is very welcome. Jaa, veldig gjerne!! Har akkurat sagt opp medlemskapet mitt jeg og, men redd jeg ikke klarer å være like strukturert med treningen på egenhånd.. Så det hadde vært kjempekult! Og spesielt når det kommer fra deg sommer så herlig og avslappet samtidig som du er sporty!:)

Ja! Jeg er så med! Jeg er egentlig ikke så veldig fan av å løpe (mest fordi kondisen min suger) men jeg har så lyst til å bli bedre, og til å like det! Og man liker jo som regel det man ser forbedring i :) Åå så gøy, nei nå ble jeg skikkelig gira! Så gøy med moren din forresten, skikkelig sprek familie. Og lykke til med alle shootsene dine i dag, det kan jo ikke bli annet enn bra, du er jo så nydelig :)

I definitely feel it the same way! I mean your feelings about the gym. I cancelled my membership few days ago after almost 2 years. In winter it was almost torture for me. Now when sun is up I have so much activities to choose from I run at least 3 times a week and I feel amazing. Nothing is more refreshing than that. I’m also looking forward to cycle every day and it includes even daylong summer trips. Can’t wait! Anyway the strength exercises are also welcome so I bought necessary equipments and now I can really say that I enjoy working out! Sorry for my personal story but I just had to share it with you. It’s some kind of relief that I’m not the only one who doesn’t like the gym. Maybe it’s just about the time… but now – NO, thanks :-D

Jeg er med! Jeg elsker å jogge, men er ikke egentlig veldig gira på å følge et program, jeg liker best å jogge slik jeg føler akkurat i øyeblikket, men kanskje det blir kjekkere viss jeg føler vi gjør det sammen! håper på motivasjonsposter, jeg eeeeelsker motivasjonsinnleggene dine :)

I hate gyms, I hate it starring at all the people which are way fitter than me and I always got the feeling that everyone is starring at me and probably laughing behind my back.
No way. I prefer doing sports out in the nature.
And I am soooo bad at running. But running is such a cool thing because you can do it everywhere and everyime. I love to go inline skating but when it is raining like forever you cannot go inline skating because it is just too slippery .. so improving my running is much needed :)

Woohoo, så bra at du kom med denne ideen akkurat når jeg har begynt så smått å løpe. Jeg sliter litt med vonde knær (som jeg mistenker vil komme seg etterhvert som jeg går ned i vekt, for jeg er ca 20-25kg for tung i dag), så jeg har forsøkt å begynne litt i det små med løpeturer rundt Hordnesskogen og på Smørås o.l.. Har bestemt meg for hvor lenge jeg skal løpe om gangen (klarer ikke løpe en hel runde sammenhengende helt enda), og det er helt sykt hvor fort formen kommer seg! Nå klarer jeg å løpe dobbelt så lenge om gangen som bare for et par uker siden. Det er supermotiverende – men det gjør det også vanskelig å ta hensyn til at jeg kjenner det i knærne… Arg. Forsøker å få til annhver dag med gåtur og spinning eller styrketrening, og annenhver dag med løping, og det har holdt i rundt 6 uker nå. Herregud så sprek jeg skal bli, haha! I sommer skal jeg KUN gå i bikini. :D

Men du, ta hensyn til knærne dine!! Tenk om det bare blir mye verre, og du ender opp med å ikke kunne løpe på leenge i det hele tatt? Kanskje en tur til fysioterapaut er noe? :)

Ja, jeg har vært og sjekket dem, og fått beskjed om at jeg ikke kan løpe på hardt underlag, og ikke flere enn 3 ganger per uke, men at jeg må kjenne litt etter selv hva jeg klarer, og trene mye styrke i beina. Så jeg tror det går bra sånn som jeg gjør det nå. :) Kanskje vi sees på Smøråsen en dag!
