Strolling The Streets

Hi guys :) So I just woke up, major sleeping in day today! I was walking around Manhattan all night, I was probably out for four or five hours, just walking. Manhattan by night is just so breathtaking! I found this amazing singer on Youtube who does cover songs, so I bought all of her songs on iTunes and listened to her on repeat when walking. I think my favorites are her covers of We Are Young and Titanium. Check them out! Some iPhone snaps from last night..

The first picture is from Limelight, a really cool place! It used to be a church, then it was a nightclub for a long time. Today it’s an adorable mall, filled with cute finds. Be sure to check it out if you’re in the city! Can be found on 29th street and 6th ave. The last picture is my old neighborhood, there’s so many memories that pop up when I walk there, it’s insane! When I moved here the first time I always walked around like last night, the lights and people you meet are just so inspiring. I remember walking around thinking about how fun it would be if the blog I had just started took off, and I also thought about how fun it would be to have a fashion column in BA or BT. I thought to myself “Should I email them and see if they’re interested?” but then I was like “Nah, they would probably want someone way cooler than me“. So fun to walk around in the same streets and actually live the life I pictured for myself two years ago. Now I’m headed out again, and I’ll take some pictures of my skirt in an outfit later! :) Have a great evening everyone back home♥♥

  4. Cathrine, how are you preparing for Sandy’s arrival? I’m worried about your safety and hope you are taking it seriously. The thing is, if the predictions are correct, this is unlike anything that has happened before, as I just read in nbc news about 5 reasons it is uniquely severe and dangerous. Isn’t it supposed to hit Monday/Tuesday?, and the power outages might create terrible problems. Last year Irene, now Frankenstorm, wtf?! Geez, and you thought Bergen had bad weather?!, haha, you ain’t got nothin’ on us, haha.

  6. I saw you walking around Meatpacking the other day and was about to say “hello”, but completely chickened out. Completely chickened out and now totally regret it! Either way, you need a new camera! The pictures you post on here do not even give you justice of how stunning you are!! Hope your enjoying NYC, which I agree is a wonderful city :)) Stay safe and have a good flight home. We are supposed to be hit with a crazy storm here, but hopefully you are on your way back to Norway!

  8. Oh, I’m so worried about that :/ My plane is supposed to leave Monday night, just when Sandy is supposed to hit NY :S I guess I’ll just have to see what happens.. Thank you for your concerns :) Much love right back atcha
