Finally the day is here; My cousin Fride and I are off for a fabulous long weekend in Stockholm, filled with luxurious pampering, a huge party, lovely surroundings, and as always with us; Lots of laughter. I haven’t traveled with Fride since New York last year, and I couldn’t have asked for a better travel companion. I feel a bit bad not being home for our national day though, but my sister is somewhere in the US desert and my parents are enjoying life at some castle in southern France, so it would be a pretty lonely national day anyhow. Today our plan is just to explore Stockholm once we arrive, do some shopping and of course enjoy some yummy food and wine. We booked a table at Grill which I was recommended by a reader for dinner tonight, and tomorrow it’s pampering and party time. I can’t wait!
