Hellooo from South Africa! The trip down here went great, it was sooo good to see Tonje again! The drive from the airport was pretty interesting, we drove along townships where millions of people live in extreme poverty. Pretty crazy to see it up close. Tonje and her roomies’ house is gorgeous and huge though, and they have their own guard outside the house. They live in Stellenbosch, about an hour from Cape Town. We had a cosy evening with cheese, crackers and a bottle of red, and the girls went bananas when they saw all the Norwegian candy I brought them. Here is Tonje and her sweet roomies Malene and Vilde :)
I want a kitchen like this!!
Now we’re gonna go explore the neighborhood, and later we’re hopefully going wine tasting. Super ready for this week, it will be a week I’m never going to forget, I’m sure. Have a great day dolls<3

Love that kitchen too (my kitchen had a flood 12 months ago and it has to fully dry out before we can sort it out, it is nearly there) hate the way it looks at the moment, keep browsing the web for ideas for when we can get going on it :-) exciting.
The cosy night in sounds great (I am a sucker for cheese and wine) have fun with the rest of your trip, take lots of photos, would love to see what it is like as I am thinking about going one day.
Enjoy
xx

How awesome Cath! I lived in Stellenbosch with a host family for a couple of months in 11th grade and I enjoyed every bit of it! Such a great place! I’d love to go back there eventually! How long are you going to stay?
