I think this is a very nice way of showing you support. For us “normal” people there as so little we can do in a situation like this, so every little thing counts. Today I were at Stortoget 12 o’clock to show my support, and it was so heartbreaking and at the same time nice, beeing there with all the others who wanted to show their support. One minute of silence became five, and it felt good. I read on Facebook that one of my friends had gathered a group and walked around in the city center with signs saying: FREE HUGS. The response had been amazing, and people had came to them and cried. everyone are together in this!

I also read this today, a german newspaper article says: “Even in their deepest sorrow the Norwegians don’t get hysterical. They resist the hate. It is amazing to see how politicians and the whole country reacts. They are sad to the deepest thread of their souls. They cry in dignity. But nobody swears to take revenge. Instead they want even more humanity and democracy. That is one of the most remarkable strengths of that little country.”

I have always been so proud to be Norwegian, and today I just feel even more proud.

I hope you are well in NYC. You have touched me with your kind and emotional words.

Breivik was also proud of being Norwegian. How about being proud of good people no matter where they come from?
