I’m finally feeling a bit more energized, and I’m super ready for a family barbecue. My outfit today is all American Apparel, love that store!

Sweater: American Apparel/Here, Skirt: American Apparel/Here, Sunnies: D&G, Watch: Fossil

I have to pick up this sweater in white as well next time I’m in NY, as I could only find the black one at Asos. I was scared half to death when taking these pictures by the way! As you know I live in a house in my parent’s garden, and it’s not possible to see the house from the street, it’s very secluded. Suddenly I just hear ‘hello’ right behind me, and a man has actually found his way through the bushes and in to the garden. Bella took action and tried to scare him away, but there’s no way a dog that cute can be found frightening, so it didn’t work, haha. Luckily the man left when I asked him to.. I think he wanted to sell me oil paintings or something. And oh, another frightening thing! My sweet neighbor told me at the baby shower last night, that she had met two girls down the street looking confused with a map or something in their hands, and they were like ‘Excuse us, do you know which house Cathinthecity lives in?‘ Woah… I mean.. They didn’t find my house though, my neighbor pretended like she didn’t know me, ‘phiew’! They were probably really sweet and all, but I really value my privacy, so I thought it was a bit inappropriate. But next time, just ask the oil painting sales guy, he found his way just fine, haha.

Anywho, I’m off barbecuing, have a great evening girls♥

  6. I always think that bloggers and people that use Facebook a lot are very brave to put so much of personal information out there. I could never do it; I don’t even use Facebook because I feel that I need to keep certain things for myself and the people closest to me and I have seen how Facebook profiles get out of hand when people add and add “friends” and end up with sharing personal info with too many people. By the way sounds very weird that these girls came with a map looking for your house. Very, very weird!

  26. Lovely outfit. I particularly adore florals, so this is something I will most definitely be looking into. In regards to the whole oil painting man and the two girls, I think it is great how you mention it in your blog, hopefully making everyone realize that although you appreciate their support, it is important to respect your privacy.   29. For ikke lenge siden da min svigersøster var alene med ungene sine så prøvde en slik mann å nærmest bryte seg igjennom døren for å komme inn. Det så ut som han ville selge bilder, men han tok de ikke opp fra vesken engang. Han ville bare inn i leiligheten så svigersøsteren min måtte fysisk dytte han ut for å lukke døren. Skummelt!
