Good morning angels! We just got back from a heavenly breakfast at the hotel. I didn’t know breakfast was included, and I’d never expect the breakfast to be that luxurious! It’s on the 35th floor with an amazing view over Tokyo, and everything was so yummy and delicate. This hotel really amazes me, it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at for sure! A good breakfast felt really good this morning, as I’m so bad at adapting to new time zones. We went to bed around 1am last night, and by 4am I was wide awake. Perfect! But there’s nothing a croissant and a cup of coffee (or six) can’t fix, right?
When I got up in the middle of the night I took the longest shower, and I thought I’d tips you about this super practical little kit I found at H&M the day before leaving. It’s a travel kit consisting of two small bottles and two small boxes, which are perfect for shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer or whatever you want. A perfect way to save luggage space! I filled up the little box with moisturizer and brought it with me on the plane, and the bottles are a perfect size for a week’s supply of shampoo and conditioner. The kit was only 49,95kr :)
Not being able to sleep didn’t bother me, as I got lots of time to slouch around in my robe and a huge towel turban on my head..
..while enjoying the incredibly beautiful view of the sunrise over Tokyo.
Amazing!! Now we’re ready to head out and explore the city, I can’t wait! The weather was so bad yesterday, and we were so tired from the trip, so we just chilled at the hotel with the exception of dinner. The weather is much better today though, so I can’t wait to hit the streets, shop, eat yummy food, see more of the culture and interact with the Japanese people. I’ve read that the Japanese are incredibly kind and welcoming, and after being here for less than 24 hours I can definitely second that! The first interaction I had with a Japanese was at the airport yesterday, when I tried to buy a bottle of water from a vending machine, but it wouldn’t except my bill as it was too big. This super sweet old lady came up to me, paid for my water and said “Consider this a gift. Welcome to Japan”, and bowed. How kind!! Ah, I just love it here.. Have a wonderful weekend you guys, see you laters♥
By the way: Tokyo is seven hours ahead of Europe, so when we’re here I time my posts seven hours ahead.

Hei!
