Recipe: Steak dinner

23 Comments | Food & Drink

You’ve been requesting more recipes, so I thought I’d share my absolute favorite side dish to any kind of meat, especially steaks. My uncle showed me this recipe a while ago, and I’ve been making it several times a week ever since, it’s so darn good. And not to mention, super easy to make! In Norwegian it’s called ‘soppstuing’, so I guess mushroom stew will be a good translation. In addition to the mushroom stew and steak, I served Pommes Noisettes and bernaise sauce, YUM!

Here’s what you need to do:

As I mentioned, I know it’s not exactly esthetically pretty, but it’s sooo good! You seriously need to try this. I forgot to add seasoning with salt and pepper, you should do this when you mix in the cream :) Bon appetit♥

Yum!

    Hei, vakre!

I bought an already made one. I’ve tried to make it from scratch in the past, but it’s never been a success. So I didn’t bother :) Thank you sweetie!

Stekes bare i ovnen :)

  1. 10 Tips For a Perfect Girlsnight In • CathInTheCity says:
    6, March 2015 | 12:36 at 12:36

[…] Almost every girls night in we do, starts with a little cooking session. We make a yummy dinner together, which is so cozy! Working together, then being able to sit down and enjoy the finished meal, is such a great way to kick off a fab night in. We always end up spending so much more time than necessary on the dinner making, as we’re too busy talking, hah. One time my friend Annette and I actually spent four hours chopping the veggies for our dinner!! We were just standing in the kitchen talking and sipping on wine, and time just flew by, hah. Anyway, here are some dishes I recommend to make at a girls’ night in! You can also try my serrano wrapped chicken here, and my favorite steak dinner here. […]
