..I woke up like this!!

..except from the party dress, the fake eye lashes, the bronzer, and.. Uhm. You get the picture. The point is, I woke up HAPPY!! Because today, my boyfriend is coming home for the first time since he went to the army! YAY!! He’ll be here all weekend! I cant’ wait to have someone cuddle with me again : D My frustration about the hair crisis, which didn’t get better at all yesterday, and the fact that my job really sucks, will just have to wait, and make room for happiness, for a few days : )

Two weeks!!

Holy (excuse my french) shit! I’m leaving for NY in exactly two weeks from today. If you don’t know why I’m going there, you’ll find out here.

Did I mention that this fashionista is going to be my nearest neighbor? Just sayin..

Hi. Today I’m in a horrible mood. The hair turned out really really ugly yesterday. It’s totally lifeless, dark brown in the roots, and it’s gray/green in the ends..Okay, I might overreact just a touch. But it’s just SO not the right color for me, and I feel like there’s growing lots of pubic hair on my head. I’m going back there today and really hope they can fix it. I was so upset by the way the hair turned out, that I went to the bus stop and stood there for a good 15 minutes waiting for the bus. Then a thought hit me. “What the fuck are you doing, you haven’t taken the bus in over a year”. So I went to the parking garage, got in my car and drove home.. “sånn går no dagan”

I want this color again. Fingers crossed.

Am I the only one who is completely addicted to sushi? I just wanted to tip you guys about a fabulous sushi place in Bergen; Red Sun (it’s vis a vis McDonalds by Fløybanen). The sushi there is beyond perfection, and it’s also a little cheaper than the other sushi restaurants in Bergen.

Maxi dress

So I’m off to my hair dresser now. I really have no idea what I’m gonna do. Will I come back with a black super short bob? Maybe a sidecut? Only time will tell. I wanted to wear my maxi dress from Benetton, but it looks like the weather gods have other plans for me.

Oh God, I always look so pissed in my outfit shots.. I DO smile too! Occasionally…

Today I wore a flowery vintage dress. How do you guys like it? I clicked it home here together with this dress.

Btw: Please ignore the fact that it looks like I’m about to kill the camera.

Light or dark, that’s the question.

I’ve had every hair color from pure white to all black. Right now, I feel like my hair is a little too blonde. I’m going to my hair dresser tomorrow morning, but I still haven’t decided what I want to do with it. What do you guys think, should I keep my blonde locks, or should I go for a little darker blonde color for fall?

Here I’m with my friend Jeanette, with a lot of thin dark stripes that created a little more contrasts in my hair as opposed to what I have now. What should I do? Please feel free to voice your opinions!

Today.. the day I’ve been dreading all summer. My bestie, Tonje, is leaving me. She’s moving to Oslo to go to school. I really have no idea what I’m gonna do here in Bergen without her, but one thing’s for sure; this whole moving thing stunt will mean a LOT of trips to the capital for me when I get back from NY.

Tonje is so cute. Her only requirement now that she’s apartment hunting, is that the bedroom is big enough to fit a guest bed into it, so that I can come over as much as I want. Isn’t that beyond adorable?

I don’t really understand why she wants to move there anyway. I much prefer Bergen to Oslo. But then again, I’ve only been to Oslo once in my “adult” life, and I didn’t get the best impression of the city.

We went there with the entire third grade of my high school. Everyone had to take the night train, which we were not too thrilled about. But of course, something had to happen to make the matter a whole lot worse. The airhead sitting behind us fell asleep with tobacco in his mouth. This of course ended with him throwing up a whole year’s supply of food, mixed with stomach acid and of course the tobacco, on the back of our seats. Which of course lead to us standing in the opposite end of the train for most of the ride. Great start.

When we arrived in Oslo, we had to attend SUPEREXCITING lectures. We could barely contain ourselves!!

Everyone had to sleep at Anker Hostel, where the amount of bedbugs gave the stars in the sky serious competition as far as quantity goes. Bedbugs 1 – Stars 0.

When the evening came, we were all ready to hit the town, and we went to.. wait for it.. TROMPETEN! I trust the people there wearing neon colored dresses, showing way too much of each butt cheek and practically humping each others legs on the dance floor represented a good selection of Oslo’s finest youth. Or..?

The only time smiles were to be seen, was when we had 10 minutes to go shopping before we had to go home.

So.. Do I have any readers who live in Oslo? If so; how well does my interpretation of the city match with reality? I have a feeling I might have had some serious bad luck as to where we went and what we did, and I’m very ready to give Oslo another chance when I get back from NY : )

Psst: I have one hilarious experience from Oslo that I’ll never forget. I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.
