My manicure

As I told you yesterday, I just got a manicure. I decided to go with red, and I just love the color, so I thought I’d tip you guys on which nail polish she used. It was from Essie, and the color was called Jelly Apple. It’s a fresh and fun contrast to all the black, grey and “boring” colors that fall fashion brings.

English vs. Norwegian

When I started this blog I decided to go with English, but I think all my readers are Norwegian. Do you want me to switch over to writing Norwegian? Or do I have American readers who just never comment? Hope you all are having a wonderful day <3

Amazing day!

Today was such an amazing day. It started out with getting a manicure in the Meatpacking District, then a lunch and shopping with the lovely Ulrikke, and then I hurried off to Brooklyn to meet a friend to catch the sunset over Manhattan from his rooftop terrace. After that we went to a bar in Williamsburg which was soo cosy, followed by some food and a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge which I really recommend doing by night. It was awesome. Life in New York is absolutely fabulous! I’ll show you all the pictures in the morning, right now I’m a little tipsy quite frankly, and need to sleep it off.

One of the pictures I took today. Beautiful New York <3

Perfect day

Last night I attended a barbecue hosted by the Norwegian Seamen’s Lutheran Church, which was so nice. The barbecue was for young Norwegians living in New York, and I met lots of nice people there : ) So glad I went! Soon I’m off to a lunch and shopping with Ulrikke who I met at the barbecue, and tonight I’m gonna meet up with a few others I met for a walk in Brooklyn : ) Perfect day. Hope you all are having a good one <3

Dress: Bik bok Bag: Mango, Belt: Gift from Tonje (thanks<3) and watch: Guess

Central Park

It’s a pretty amazing feeling to just walk around in the park with absolutely no problems or worries, and just enjoy the insanely beautiful park on a wonderful day like today.

New top and a chinese lesbian fight

So the headline pretty much sums up my morning. I was woken up by two chinese ladies who were fighting soo loudly next door, and they’re still on it, 4 hours later. It’s crazy! They’re screaming, crying, hitting each other and calling each other really ugly names. I mean, should I do something? I’ve just been sitting listening all morning. Chinese lady #1 accuses chinese lady #2 for verbally torturing her, and chinese lady #2 accuses chinese lady #1 for not giving a crap about her life.

So, over to the important stuff. I got a new top from Forever21. How do you like it?

Feedback

I just want to thank you sweeties for all the comments and the positive feedback here and on Facebook. Like this message I got the other day..

Fy faens fitte means.. uhm.. You can find out for yourselves : )

I’ve been getting a lot of questions on how I made this trip possible in terms of money, apartment and everything else, so I made a page called “make it possible” with all the information. So check it out if you’re thinking of doing the same thing as me, otherwise it will be a snooze fest to read : )

Fail

So last nigh I was supposed to go out with my promotor and a bunch of girls. So I thought; shit! I need to get new heels, a new clutch, a new perfume and a new self tanner! So I ran to Soho, and got this:

Shoes from Steve Madden

Clutch bag from Mango (needed a fun one since my outfit was all black)

Perfume from Versace

Self tanning set from Sephora.

But then I remembered.. I’m sick. I haven’t gotten better yet, and there’s no way I can go out. Story of my life..
