Say hello to my latest bag addition; a gorgeous vintage Chanel classic flap bag♥ Isn’t it perfect? After Elise tipsed about the vintage store DoiKakuya, I knew that that would have to be one of my first shopping spots in Tokyo. It’s Tokyo’s oldest vintage store, and they have stores several places in the city. They buy vintage bags and resell them, and I’m telling you, DoiKakuya is vintage heaven!! I was like a little kid in a candy store, there were so many gorgeous bags!! All the bags are authenticated, so you know you get the real deal. They especially have a great selection of Chanel and Louis Vuitton, but there were also brands like Balenciaga, Celiné, Prada and YSL. The bags are priced after how old and damaged they are, so here you can make a really good deal, or you can decide to pay more for a newer one. There’s tons of options to choose from, again, vintage heaven! I found a beige Celiné bag which was just so perfect too, but that one was priced pretty high so I decided to let it go. If you’re heading here, be sure to bring your passport! If you show your passport you will get the taxfree price, which you can save a lot on. I didn’t bring my passport, so I had to go back to the hotel and get it before paying. The biggest store is located in Shinjaku, but they have stores several places in town. My favorite vintage store has always been A Second Chance in New York, but nothing even comes close to Kakuya!! I got one more beautiful bag which I’ll show you tomorrow. My materialistic happiness levels are THROUGH THE ROOF right now!!!!!!
Kan du fortelle hvor mye du måtte betale for den? Evt også hva prisnivået lå på? Jeg skal til Tokyo selv neste år, og har lyst til å spare opp til en Chanel veske. :-)

Have you checked the serial number and called a Chanel store to verify it? I almost bought the same bag once, it’s so gorgeous, and it had a serial number inside and certificate of authenticity was included. I called a Chanel store to verify and it turned out to be a very good knock off… Apart from that, it’s gorgeous. I’m so jealous of you!
