The last model fitting is done, which means that I’m ecstatic!! Now that every single model has an outfit, it means that I’m done with a huge part of the job. Not only does every model have an outfit, but every model has an outfit I adore! I’m honestly so happy with all the looks, and I would wear everything myself in a heartbeat. I’ve seen pictures from other vintage fashion shows, and I think it’s very easy to go one step too far, so that it almost becomes circus-ish. Maybe fun to watch for the audience, but not exactly what makes people go “Hey, I should really check out the vintage stores in my area!!“. When I took this job, I immediately decided that what I want people to feel while they watch the show is; “Hey, I could wear that!“, and as a consequence be more aware of the great second hand shopping possibilities here in Bergen and other places. You won’t even believe the weight that’s lifted off my shoulders now that the outfit part is done, YAY! Now I just have a few things to do before the big test Friday night, and most of it is on the computer, which fits me perfectly as it’s raining like crazy outside.
A very happy girl after the last fitting, haha..
Here’s a peek on one of the looks we wrapped up today. The whole outfit is from Fretex, I love the leather pants!!
And a peek at one of my male models who’s wearing a vintage bow from Ane Blich House..
Oh, and by the way! The UN association is doing an Instagram contest right now, where you can win a weekend at Hotel Norge in the heart of Bergen, and a dinner for two at one of my favorite restaurants in Bergen; Escalon. All you need to do to enter is post a picture on Instagram with the hashtag #mittFN2013. The picture can be of anything you associate with FN, whether it’s a pretty piece of clothing because of the fashion show you’ve been reading about here, or really whatever you want. The winner will be announced on Saturday at the show, and very few people have entered so far, so the odds are great for winning :)

forts forrige melding:

Favoritten i NY :) Kos dere! Klem
