Hi from Nordfjord! We had such a blast on our roadtrip yesterday, even though what was supposed to be a 3-4 hour drive ended up taking us like 8 hours, where two of them went to driving around in the same area looking for the cottage we booked, hah. We both have lost our voices after crazy singalongs in the car, everything from Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys to Adele and Gabrielle. I love roadtrips, and Fride and I seriously always have too much fun together, even in a car..

Ferry on the fjords, doesn’t get more Norwegian than that!

Now we’re in Selje, a gorgeous place where my Grandmother used to live. That’s the reason for our little roadtrip, we just want to see where she grew up and where she used to hang out when she was little. We’ve been here before but it’s been so long! 

The beach in Selje is so pretty!! 

This is the view from our cottage, straight out to the fjords and mountains.. 

Now we’re ready to start a full day of sightseeing! We got off to a little late start this morning after too much wine with the tacos last night, but now it’s on! Unfortunately it’s grey and raining outside, but we’ll make the best of it.

  2. Åå, der er det så vakkert! Var på roadtrip i blant annet Nordfjord og Selje i fjor sommer jeg også faktisk. Anbefaler en tur til Hoddevik på Statlandet, tror ikke det er så langt unna Selje. Stranda der er helt fantastisk og utsikten gjennom hele dalen er uvirkelig. Kos dere!

  4. Åååhh! Selje er så fint! Bare det at dere aldri i verden kunne brukt 3 timer fra Bergen til Selje, er mer opp mot 5timer. Anbefaler deg virkelig å kjøre inn til Måløy for å se Refvik sanden og kråkenes fyr. (google. it!!!) Er vel en 20minutters kjøretid. Kos dere masse, og kjør forsiktig!
