I was contacted by NHH (Norges Handelshøyskole) who has a charity week this week. They’re working with UNICEF, and this week they’re trying to raise money for “Schools of Africa”, which is a charity for kids and youth in Malawi. They want to achieve more and better education throughout the world, and I think this is a wonderful place to start.
Tuesday the 13th of September, tomorrow, they’re attempting to paint Bergen orange. Stores, restaurants, clubs and numerous other organisations are helping, so this will be cool! They’re even covering the “blue stone” (which really didn’t translate well in English, “den blå steinen”) orange. In addition to that they’re having a charity run where as many people as possible run from the city centre and around Nordnesparken. For each round they run around the park, sponsors donate money. (I think each person needs to find sponsors on their own). There are lots of more events that are taking place this week, so if you’re in Bergen be sure to check it out.
I think this is an amazing initiative, and I wish NHH all the luck in the world. I’ll try to wear something orange tomorrow, but quite frankly I don’t think there’s one orange thing in my closet.. Well, I’m orange in spirit!!
Check out the NHH charity’s Facebook event here, and for more information you can visit nhhaid.no.

Eg hadde ein oransje kjole i 2007, men det var ei kostyme til ei ballettframsyning… ALT var oransje då.
Vent – eg har ei oransje trådsnelle, men det kan bli ganske dristig å gå med den.
