Hi sweets :) Thank you so much for all the feedback on my previous post, you guys are the best! Grocery shopping turned in to a little interior shopping as well earlier, the way it usually goes.. I’m simply obsessed with cute interior stuff, if I find something I like I just can’t leave it behind. These coffee mugs are pure perfection in my eyes. I love the bright silver and the details on the inside, they’re almost too pretty to drink coffee out of. I found them at Traktøren :)
Cute candle holders, can girls ever get enough? From Riviera Maison.
I found this guitar sculpture or whatever I should call it at a workshop in the township Khayelitsha when we were at the township tour. It’s made out of old Coca Cola cans, so cool!
I think this painting is so gorgeous, the picture doesn’t do it justice at all. I got it at a workshop in Langa Township. It was really expensive, but most of the money went to improving the workshop facilities for the children after school, so I consider it money very well spent. It’s actually painted on sand, in real life this painting is quite breathtaking. Our white walls were in desperate need of some art, so this is a good way to start :)
A cute handmade plate, also from Langa. Love it!
Now I have to carry on unpacking, the most boring thing I can think of. It’s especially stressful since my boyfriend has the worst cold ever, and without exaggeration he sneezes three to four times a minute. I have a minor obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to people sneezing, I seriously have to say ‘prosit’ (God bless you), and if I say it one time too many, I need to say it backwards to even it out. Today this disorder has become a full time job, super annoying. Interesting? I think not. Sorry. I’ll unpack now, hope you’re all having a great evening♥

When I first saw the picture of the giraffe I thought, “Oh my she already printed one of the pictures that she took in South Africa blew it up and cropped it in three different sections.” Then I read the description and then I was like, “Well that is money well spent.” Just a thought you should consider doing something similar with the picture of the zebra that you took. I think it will look wonderful.

Hei herlige Cathrine:)

These coffee mugs are really cute! I love these birds inside, they remind me about all beautiful stories I was reading in childhood and birds were usually a sign of something really positive incoming… :)
I love your interior post, you have so sweet taste!

Det var litt vanskelig å lese, men tror det står “Miss Etoile” og “life is sweet”. Håper du finner de :) Stor klem
