My Daily Skincare Routine//Konjac Sponge

18 Comments | Makeup

I’ve tested some new skin care products these last couple of weeks, and I have to say, my skin has never looked better! I rarely get big pimples, but I usually always have small impurities, new ones every day in fact. So incredibly annoying! You can’t really tell when I’m wearing makeup, but it annoys me so much. Who doesn’t want clear skin? The day after I came home from Africa, I decided to do a little lifestyle change, a minor one, but still, it has given crazy good results already. First and foremost, I decided to be much more thorough with my skincare routine. And secondly, I decided to ditch candy, sweets, and everything sugary, including alcohol, for a month. This combination has led to great results, so if I have the will power I’ll keep it up forever! I feel much healthier, and my skin looks so much better. Now, to the new skincare routine. I’ve discovered this wonderful little tool called the Konjac Sponge, which I use to cleanse my skin morning and evening. I chose the one made for sensitive, dry and irritated skin because of all the small impurities and dry spots, but Coverbrands has a wide range of sponges for different skin types here.

The sponge I use is called french pink clay, which promises to transform dry and tired skin into a soft and glowy skin. I definitely think it holds its promise. What you do is you soak it in water, then massage it all over your face in a circular motion. You don’t have to use a cleansing gel with this, the sponge itself is a perfect makeup remover. The sponge is deeply cleansing and refreshing, as well as it gently exfoliates the skin while you’re rubbing it around your face. The exfoliation part I just love, it really works! With it I use the GloMinerals eye makeup remover, which is oil free and removes all traces of mascara and eyeliners.

Tusen takk <3
