Monday Tips III

My third ‘Monday Tips’ will be devoted to something that is so trendy nowadays; Contouring! I think we have a certain miss Kim Kardashian to thank for that, and I think it’s so fun to experiment! I was supposed to do a full tutorial for you guys, but my camera went out of battery in the middle of the countering session, and this was the only blogable picture I was left with, hah. so in stead of the full tutorial, I thought I’d share my favorite products to contour with! I think the most common products to use is different powders, but I think that the result is so much prettier with foundations. Giorgio Armani’s Face Fabric Foundation is absolutely perfect for contouring! It melts into the skin perfectly, and blends so well with the highlighter/concealer. To highlight, I use Estee Lauder’s Double Wear concealer in the color 02 Light Medium. I absolutely adore this concealer, and I wear it every day!

To contour, I simply dash the concealer on the places I want to highlight, and the darker Face Fabric where I want to contour, like under my cheekbones, my temples and on the top of my forehead. I don’t use any foundation under this, I just blend the two shades together well, and I’m left with a perfectly contoured result. The upside of using liquid makeup as opposed to powder, is that it blends so much better together, and melts into your skin so it doesn’t look like you have tons of makeup on.

I can’t recommend Face Fabric enough for contouring, you have to try it♥

I think contouring is an art for itself and can result in such a disaster when it’s done with the wrong products :) I once saw a girl that looked like she had 4 huge brown dots around her face and I felt a bit sorry for her because everyone was noticing it except her.
