I saw this tutorial on how to contour your face on Pinterest, and figured I should share it with you. I’ve picked up a few tips on contouring here and there, and that’s by far the thing I spend most time on while doing my makeup now. It can make all the difference in the world! And what better time to share it than right now when a lot of you are probably doing your makeup to go out? I don’t do it as extreme as the tutorial shows, but I always do my cheekbones and around my face to frame it. I hope our days of just splashing bronzing powder all over our faces are over, because this is how you should use it :)
I thought I’d share some of my fave products in my contouring routine as well, so here goes..
1 – Bronzing powder from Bobbi Brown in the color 4, deep. I use this one for contouring, it’s the perfect dark color and I like that it’s matte.
2 – A good foundation underneath is important. I always go back to this one from Dior.
3 – A light concealer which I sometimes also use as a highlighter. Perfect for under the eyes. It’s called ‘Clinique All About The Eyes Concealer’, I have the color 01 Fair.
4 – An angled brush is the most important tool when contouring! This one is from Bare Minerals but most makeup brands have a brush like this.
5 – This highlighter from DuWop is my favorite, I have the color ‘champagne’. It’s not too glittery, and I like the smooth finish that it gives.
6 – A good blending brush is also very important when contouring, to even out everything.
Have a great evening sweet readers, go crazy!!♥♥
do you have a link?
A link for what?
Love this! So useful. When I first started using foundation, I had no idea about contouring, so I hated foundation – it just made me look so flat!! Now that I know how to contour, awww yeah. Picture perfect!!
Thanks for this! Also, there are some great video tutorials on this on youtube, like this guy:

The before and after is just amazing, and it looks super natural! So impressive :)
Sorry, this is the one I meant:

She doesn’t look that natural in the other one!! Eek! :)
Where did did you find the photo with the detailed contour shading, please share if possble. Thank you for this post, make up tutirials are such fun!
bra innlegg, takk!
I found it on Pinterest as I wrote in the post :) Love that site!!
I knoow, me too! Yes I’ve seen his videos, love them, even though it’s pretty funny when he does the makeup looks on himself haha :)
Tusen takk for svar :) Skal prøve!
pinterest is not a link… can you copy the URL?
Bra bilde!

I don’t have the url, I saw it several days ago and saved it on my computer. I follow too many people to be able to look for it now, hundreds of new pins every day.
Haha I know!
I love contouring, but it can get tricky so I blogged about a very cool tip to achieve the perfect contouring look ;)

Hei! :)
