Makeup Tips

Cheekbones – we all want them, right? Okay, technically we all have them, but you know what I mean. Those high Kim Kardashian cheeckbones that makes the face appear so much fresher and slimmer (and dare I say it – prettier). I guess most of you have heard of contouring by now, right? Contouring can really perform miracles to a face, it’s all about knowing where the shadows and where the highlights should go. If you want your cheekbones to P-O-P Kim K-style, you should apply a darker bronzing powder in the hollows of your cheeks. It can be difficult to know exactly where the powder should go, and since we’re dealing with a dark powder here, it’s best to know what you’re doing. So I thought I’d share a fool-proof tips with you guys, which you just have to try!

So as you can see on the picture above, you’ll need a dark bronzing powder, a powder brush and an old credit card or something similar. I’m just using an oldie from Las Vegas which I don’t even know what I used for anyway. So what you do is that you dab your brush in the dark powder, make a pout or suck in your cheecks, and place the credit card right under your cheekbone. You can feel where it is when you suck in the cheeks, I promise. Then you just powder away, while holding the card in place. When you remove the card, you’ll have the perfectly enhanced cheekbone look.

If you want to enhance them even more, you can put some highlighter above the cheeks. And don’t forget to blend everything well, that’s the most important part about contouring. This little trick is so neat, and I find myself doing it almost every day.

Do you guys have any fun makeup tips to share? ♥

I recently started applying my under-eye concealer in an upside down triangle shape. It is amazing! It makes such a difference. My eyes are brighter and the coverage is much better. That’s my tip!

Hvilken farge har du i din NARS-bronzer? :) Og hvilken farge bruker du på øyenbrynene dine?
