Hi angels! I’m back from a fantastic trip to London. Every time I visit London I just love it more and more. It’s such a pretty city, and the options on different things to do there are endless. I really wanted to catch a musical, check out the parks and different tourist attractions as it’s been so long since I did a proper tourist trip to London. My previous trips have been all about shopping and eating, hah. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for any of that this time either as our days were packed, but I really want to go back this spring and have more time on my hands. I ended up only taking snapshots with my phone, but I think the camera on the iPhone 5S is so good, so I hope you don’t mind. Let’s check out the pics, shall we? First up; Gorgeous and busy Regent Street. There are tons of good shops here, but my favorites are And Other Stories and Zara Home.
We arrived pretty late on Tuesday, and headed to Leicester Square for dinner and drinks. We ended up having a super fun girls’ night out, which I had to pay for on our busy day on Wednesday, bah..
Leicter Square is filled with amazing restaurants. We chose a steak house, and cooked the meat ourselves on a boiling hot pan we got. So yummy!
On Wednesday our day started early in the morning, and we didn’t get back until late at night. We had an incredibly interesting and inspiring day, and got so much work done for our new project. Our business associates from Manchester came to join us, and I learned so much.
After our full day of work we headed to Leicester Square again, and went to the Mexican restaurant Cantina Laredo. I absolutely love Mexican food, the best there is! We ate so much yummy food, and the waitress actually made the guacamole from scratch on our table. There’s a little video of it on my Instagram if you want to see how the pros do it. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Out-of-this-world-yummy desserts..
Yesterday my business partner left super early in the morning, but I wanted to spend the day there to do some shopping. Even though Oxford Street is such a touristy place to be, the shopping is amaaaazing, so I just had to have a few hours there. I met up with my friend Alexandra who lives there for lunch at Momo, and we had such a nice time. We ended up talking for hours while enjoying incredible Moroccan food. The decor in the restaurant was so incredibly pretty, it seriously felt like we were in Morocco while we were there. You can find the restaurant on 25 Heddon Street, a little side street from Regent Street (right by Zara Home).
Like I said, it definitely felt like we were in Morocco. Here is the restroom area, and I have to admit, it took me a few seconds to realize that this was the sign for the women’s restrooms, haha.
After lunch, it was time for the serious shopping spree to start.. Oxford Street, let’s do this!!
Topshop in Oxford Street must be my favorite store in the whole wide world. I don’t even need to visit any other stores, I find everything I want here. Nike kicks have been on my wishlist for so long, and I love the new ones that come in silver and gold. They only had this pair in silver and mint though, and I couldn’t decide if I should get them or not. I ended up not buying them, but ah, they were so pretty..
One of the things I love the most about Topshop is that they offer such amazing customer service. The personal shopping area is fantastic! I always get huge dressing rooms, with cupcakes, coffee, water, soda or whatever I want while I’m trying on clothes. I of course bought the outfit I’m wearing on the pic, wasn’t it cute? Also, I got pretty much everything on the racks, haha. I’ve become obsessed with this skirt length lately, so three different ones came with me home.
Then it was time to head home, and I landed around midnight last night. Today I have a zillion things to take care of before the weekend, and it doesn’t exactly help that Bella is suddenly in heat, and acts like a super horny teenage boy, while she bleeds all over the place. Does anyone have experience with doggy diapers? Is it worth getting? A weird question to ask, I know, but that’s one of the benefits of having a big blog. No matter what I’m wondering, you guys almost always have answers and different experiences to share. Anyhow, I need to get to it. Have a lovely day you guys♥

i bought baby diapers for my pup and just cut a hole for her tail – they worked pretty well. Although I went for a walk with her and forgot to take the diaper off – she forgot it was on her and went for a wee and a poop with it on! She definitely needed a bath when we got back! But kiddies diapers are a good idea. i reviewed cantina laredo when it first opened, for the blog, amazing! you’re right about the deserts – absolutes dreams and their cocktails are to die for! xx

Hi Cathrine, please do a blogger meet next time you’re in the city! Can I ask if the blue stripey piece on the end of the rail is a top?
So glad you enjoyed your time here, I love my city too!xoxo

Hei nydelige Cathrine!
cathrineheienberg says
Takk for oppklaring! Komplisert, hihi. Klem
cathrineheienberg says
That’s a good idea, I’ll keep that in mind :) I don’t know how many blog readers I have in London, but that would definitely be fun! Yes it’s a top, but I didn’t get it :) Xo
cathrineheienberg says
Oh no, how awful, haha. Thanks for the tips :) :)

Your outfit in Topshop is fabulous! You look fantastic in bright colors and you’re the queen of skirts! Really…nobody looks better in high waisted skirts than you. Looking forward to outfits with your new pieces :)
Anyway I hope I’ll visit London this year and do some proper shopping on Oxford street, too.

Thank you so much sweetie <3

Hei Cathrine!

Takk for tips :)
cathrineheienberg says

Uttales visst ‘grennish’.

Thanks :)

Hei,
Hva heter biffrestauranten du var på? Anbefaler du den?
cathrineheienberg says
Hei!
