1. I wore a hat for the first time, and felt pretty cool, haha // 2+3. My lovely cousin and bestie Fride and I enjoying a coffee break at the Trump Tower on 5th avenue

1. Our hotel had a pool (For Manhattan, that’s rare to put it mildly) // 2. It also had the prettiest view from the rooftop, where one of New York’s hottest clubs, PhD, is located // 3. Tipsy girls after going out. Just an elevator ride from the club and we were home, awesome!

Food porn at Max Brenner, a chocolate restaurant with the most heavenly menu. Located at Union Square, a must!

1. Ready for a new day in the city in my fave maxi dress (get it here) // 2. In a cab ready to go shopping // 3. The balloon I got Fride for her birthday, along with cupcakes from Baked By Melissa. Yummy!

We started celebrating Fride’s birthday with a trip to the Comic Strip Live. The best comedy club in New York, where comedians like Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Adam Sandler were discovered.

1+2. It’s dangerous for me to spend time with anyone who loves white wine as much as I do, haha. I think I turned into a minor alcoholic during our time in New York, but luckily the alcoholic in me stayed behind in the city when I left. // 3. When you’re too lazy to go out and grab food, grubhub.com is your best friend! Yum-O!

1. Out and about in the Meatpacking District // 2. We were supposed to pack, but ended up drinking wine in all the mess and going out instead // 3. I met so many Norwegian blog readers out in New York! Sweet girls!

1. Gift shopping for my boyfriend at Saks Fifth Avenue. I ended up with lots of clothes and this watch from Michael Kors. // 2. For the first time I got one of those neck pillows and eye masks for our flight home, how have I been flying without these? A lifesaver!! // 3. Fride loved them so much she doubled up. Haha!
