I was a huge fan of The Hills when the show aired, and Lauren Conrad was of course my favorite. I found her so relatable, and I still do. Even though I no longer consider myself a fan in the traditional sense, I still think it’s fun to follow her career and see all the things she does. She’s gone from reality TV fame to entrepreneurship with everything from her own clothing line, a book series, design collaborations, different websites and so much more. That’s something I really admire! I actually met her at a book signing in New York, and she was the cutest thing ever.
InStyle just did an article on her Beverly Hills penthouse apartment, and I just had to share these pictures with you guys! I absolutely adore her home. All the different colors and patterns, the lovely mix between vintage and industrial with a hint of modern, all the small decor pieces and of course the brick wall. I need a brick wall in my next house!!
Who else wants to move right in here? I love the unexpected yellow chairs in the dining room, the set of stairs and of course the brick wall which just sets the tone for the whole place. I think I would do something different with the kitchen though, I’ve always dreamt of a more modern meets industrial kitchen. Victoria‘s kitchen will definitely be the inspiration for my next house, perfction.
her place is gorgeous!!

Ya know…I love the brick wall, it’s beautiful, but the rest really isn’t my taste. That dinning room is a bit too authentic 1970s. But hey, to each their own right?
I think you’re place has far better styling Cath! I’d take your design over her’s any day. V — http://www.lifeplus1.me
