Now that I’m traveling, I thought it’d be a good time to show you what I bring with me in my makeup bag. I’ve gotten a lot of makeup questions lately, so here’s what I use :) I try new products all the time so my makeup routine/products changes often. But I’m really happy with the products I’m using now. So here we go!
For the skin
For everyday life I use these. Mineral poweder from Tromborg in the color sky, brush from Tromborg
When I’m going out I use these products. Dior Forever Foundation in the color 033, and DuWop doubleglow in the color champagne. I usually just use the DuWop highlighter on the bridge of my nose, but it works perfectly under the eyebrows, on the cheekbones and on the collar bones as well.
Concealer from Mac in the color NW25. I use this one wherever I have impurities, and apply it with my fingers. Concealer from YSL in the color 2, I use this one under my eyes to look more awake. I use a brush from Sephora to apply it, it’s called Airbrush Concealer, the number is 57. I love this brush!
I’m addicted to this contouring set from MakeUp Forever, color number 3. I use it to enhance my cheekbones, and around my face to frame it a bit. I use very little at a time, and apply it with the contouring brush from MakeUp Forever. The angled brush is for contouring, the round brush on the other end is for blending. Very important when contouring! The light powder is for highlighting, but I don’s use this very much.
Normally the contouring set is enough, but if I want some extra bronze color I use this one from Nars, in the color Casino. It’s pretty dark, so I use very little at a time. It’s also perfect for tanning up the neck and chest area. The brush I use with this is from Dior, just called Dior Powder Brush.
For the eyes
2000 Calorie mascara with curved brush from Max Factor. Artliner from Lancome. Eyelash curler from Sephora.
White eyeliner from H&M. Blue eyeliner from Nilens Jord, color number 797 Turquoise. I use very little of this, but I put a thin layer of the white eyeliner first, then the blue one over, on the wet line on the lower eyelid. If I use too much I look like Stephanie Pratt in The Hills (not a good look eyeliner-wise), so a thin layer is more than enough. This brings out the blue in my eyes. I know a lot of makeup artists hate this, but I really think it works as long as I don’t overdo it.
Eyeshadow palette from The Balm called Nude Tude. This is my absolute favorite kit, and works for both daytime and nighttime. For daytime I usually wear the color Sultry or Schitzo. For nighttime I blend in the color Sexy on the outer corners of my eyelids. I usually don’t wear either mascara, dark eyeliners or eyeshadow under my eyes, but sometimes when I’m going out I’ll wear a little of the color Sexy under my eyes as well. I just think my eyes look so tiny once I put something dark underneath them, so I try to keep it light and bright.
When I’m going out I use false individual lashes in the size medium. I put maybe four or five on the outer corners of my eyes. I use the Duo Adhesive glue (nothing else compares), and a tweezer from GloMinerals to apply them.
A lot of you have been asking which lipstick I’ve used lately. It’s from Clarins, and the color number is 723. I’ve actually had this for probably six months without using it. I ordered it online because I thought it was red, then when I got it it was pink and I just forgot about it. But now I’m addicted! Earlier I’ve always used a lipgloss from Victoria’s Secret in the color Taffy Go Lucky, but this one is my new fave.
Puh, that’s all the makeup I use right now. Seems like soo much!! I’m almost embarrassed. Sorry for dirty products by the way, they’re simply well used, haha. When I’m headed out all I bring is the lipstick and the bronzing powder by the way, the rest of the makeup stays on well through both day and night.

I’m thinking of buying some mineral make up. I tried it once and it didn’t stay on very well, but since I’ve developed a much better skin care routine I think that it could benefit me. Maybe you could do a post of the pros and cons of mineral make up if you had some time? I love your skin!
Have a lovely weekend away Cath!

Darcy May;
You should really try the Jane Iredale mineral make-up products. They’re the best! Especially the pressed powder and the “sunbeam” bronzer. They have amazing eye shadows as well :) And remember the spray too, to “seal” it

Men! Kunne du laget en sminkevideo der du viser hvordan du bruker alle produktene dine step by step? Eller bare med bilder :) Du ser alltid så utrolig fresh og nydelig ut!
