House Makeover Pt. 1

Hi girlies♥ Finally I can show you part one of my home makeover, and I couldn’t be more excited. I decided to divide the makeover into a few posts, and first up is the living room. The place with the most changes is definitely the dining room area, but there’s still a few things left to fix there. This makeover is done in collaboration with Sorelle, a new online store for decor and furniture. I’ve visited their showroom several times, and it’s every decorista’s dream!! They have such amazing stuff, and very different from what you see in other decor and furniture stores. Sorelle means sisters in Italian, which is the perfect name as the store is owned by three wonderful sisters. You seriously have to check out their store, you’re gonna die!

So, to the makeover.. Earlier I had a white coffee table, which was very shabby chic, a style I’m no longer a fan of. I actually got the table for free at my old job because the paint was all messed up, so it was definitely not a very pretty table. My new table is so freakin’ gorgeous! I’ve been wanting a rustic wooden table for so long, and I couldn’t be happier with the one I found! In addition to the table I got amazing decor accessories, and I seriously love the result.

Here is the table without any decoration on it, isn’t it beautiful? It’s bigger than it appears on the picture, and I’m so in love with it.. I’ll show you how I decorate it later in the post.

My favorite new decor piece is this new silver tray with real leather handles. It makes all the difference in the world, it looks so chic!

Another decor accessory I love is this set of four gold bowls. I use them all the time, they look so luxurious! Perfect for healthy snacks which I just keep at my coffee table all day.. They can be found here♥

Bella is so happy with the new decor as well, hah..

So back to the table! Isn’t it perfect?

The texture on the table surface is so beautiful, and I love how well these natural elements work with my otherwise very light colored house. When I had the white coffee table it could easily look pretty cold and sterile, and this new one brings so much warmth and depth to my living room.

And now to the best part! Not only is this table gorgeous, it’s genius as well!! When getting this table, you actually get five tables in one. Yes, you heard me, five!! Under the main table is actually four smaller tables, which is such a good idea. You can use them as corner tables,  nightstands or whatever you’d like. I’ve used mine as stools, like when I have the girls over and we want to sit around the table so everyone can see each other better, we just pull out the tables and sit on them. So smart, right?

Your home is your safe place, where you unwind and relax, where you enjoy yourself and the company of others, so I think it’s so important to be happy with your home! Right now I couldn’t be happier with my house, looking at my new coffee table makes me smile every time.

  26. The table is so cool! I like that warm colour of the wood. So pretty! And pictures are absolutely amazing, like in famous decor magazines! I cant’ wait to see more! :) Decorating house (living spaces) is my big passion!
