After the most intense workout I think I’ve ever had with my personal trainer, I thought I deserved something extra yummy as an evening snack. Some of the exercises we did today were so tough that I was seriously on the verge of crying towards the end, haha, but at the same time it felt so ridiculously good. We did different variations of squats, lunges and hip thrusts with kettlebells and different weights, and now I almost can’t feel my legs. I’ll definitely keep doing these exercises though, so freakin’ good!!
But back to the evening snack. Do you remember this recipe I posted with my mom’s homemade granola? I’ve been meaning to make it myself for so long, and today I finally got around to it. I only used walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds though, but the result was just as yummy. Another little twist I did, after tips from a reader, was sprinkling lots of cardamom on the granola before I put it in the oven. The whole house now smells like cake, and the granola turned out extra sweet and tasty.
The glass consists of raspberries at the bottom, a layer of greek yogurt and cinnamon, then blueberries, more greek yogurt and cinnamon and the heavenly granola on top. YUM!!
This is extremely filling, so I think this jar of granola will last for a loong time. The granola is super yummy on its own too, and makes a perfect snack even without the yogurt and berries. It’s soooooo good!!
I’m gonna enjoy a second portion of this while watching Norway’s Next Top Model which starts in a few, I love that show! I don’t know if I’ve told you but Amalie from this season is actually walking in the fashion show I’m directing, fun! I really wanted to show you one of her looks for the show, and I was just about to text someone to ask for permission, then I remembered that I’m actually the boss, haha. So as the boss, I give myself the green light to reveal one of the full looks for the show!
Doesn’t she look stunning? I found the outfit at Fretex and it cost like nothing!! The necklace was actually made by a super sweet blog reader who sent it to me in the mail, I think it goes perfectly with this outfit.
I hope you try the granola sweeties, believe you me, you won’t regret it!! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful day♥
