Homemade FroYo

8 Comments | Food & Drink

One thing I’m really craving this summer is fro-yo! For those of you who don’t know yummy-treat-terms; Fro-yo is short for Frozen Yoghurt. It’s so refreshing and yummy! Today I found these adorable little fro-yo cups at a Panduro, and of course I had to make my own! For the fro-yo I used:

◊ 3 topped tbs of greek yoghurt with vanilla flavor
◊ ½ a banana
◊ 1 bag of frozen strawberries
◊ A little bit of apple juice

Mix everything in a blender, but be careful with the apple juice. You only want just enough in to make everything blend together, so that you get a nice and creamy texture.

A just as important part of the fro-yo is the toppings!! I cut up the other half of the banana, strawberries and a kiwi, and added blueberries and almond flakes. I love having something crunchy in the mix, and these worked absolutely perfectly!

Put a good mix of the toppings on top of your fro-yo, and serve! I cut up some extra toppings and added more along the way, hah. So yummy!!

These are perfect as a snack this summer, and not to mention as a fresh dessert! I’ll definitely make these the next time the girls and I are gathered at my house. Healthy, fresh and not to mention extremely yummy♥
