Hi lovelies! Today is the official father’s day in Norway, even though I’d be more than happy to celebrate my amazing dad every single year of the day. He’s the most incredible person I know! So patient and kind, and so extremely smart. He’s always there for me, and I love him more than I can describe with words. So of course, a little present for father’s day is in order. My dad (and probably most dads) appreciate home made gifts much more than just a random thing from the store, and it’s been a tradition the last few years that I make him home made peanut butter on this day. It’s one of the yummiest things he knows, and it actually stays fresh for months in the fridge.

I thought I’d share the recipe, if any of you have forgotten about father’s day and need a quick pressie. Just head over to the store and buy lots of peanuts and seasalt, and that’s all you need! Simply put the peanuts in a mixer, and mix until it becomes peanut butter. The peanuts contain a lot of oil, so you don’t need to add anything! The buttery consitency will come all on its own. For the big jar I used a little less than three bags of peanuts, and around one and a half bag on the small jar. I recommend Polly Peanuts for this. One year I tried a different brand, and they were so dry and it didn’t turn out good at all. But the ones from Polly are moist and oily :)

Now it’s time for a family dinner and of course we’ll watch the Brann match. So exciting!!

I hope you’re all enjoying the Sunday♥
