Guide: How To Build a Feminine Wardrobe

I’m always asked where I find all the pretty skirts I’m wearing, so I thought a proper guide was in order. A feminine silhouette is the prettiest thing I know! It’s so fun to make a little more out of everyday outfits, and not always go for jeans and a sweater. Wearing a skirt with tights is just as easy and comfortable as wearing pants, and it looks way more dressed up. Nothing wrong with pants, but skirts will forever be my go-to piece. What’s also great with these skirts is that you can use them both for everyday life and for going out, it just depends on how you style it. So without further ado, here is my guide to building a feminine wardrobe.

1: Here / 2: Here / 3: Here / 4: Here / 5: Here / 6: Here / 7: Here / 8: Here / 9: Here

In a feminine wardrobe, everything revolves around the skirts. I’m always on the lookout for new skirts in this exact shape, and it’s something you’ve seen me in ever since I started blogging. By enhancing the waist you immediately acheive a gorgeous feminine silhouette. For fall you of course have to pair them with tights, which I think is so pretty. My favorite tights are from Cubus, in 100 den, which means that it’s completely black, and appropriate for daytime. I must have at least 30!

For going out, pair your skirt with a cropped party top. You can of course use any other top and tuck it in the skirt too, but I think it’s so pretty with crop tops. In addition, it looks less clumpy. You can choose a crop top which shows a bit of stomach, or you can choose a longer one and show shoulders and arms in stead.

To wear your skirt for daytime, a long sleeved crop top is the way to go. You can go for knits or a thinner material, everything looks just as good.

What’s a feminie wardrobe without dresses? Choose a dress with an enhanced waist, and you get the same silhouette as a skirt paired with a top. I’m dying over number 2, I so need it in my life!!

In addition to this, belts are always great. I think they’re quite difficult to find, most belts I find are meant to wear around the hips with jeans. When it comes to outerwear, you don’t have to go all out and go for a coat with an enhanced waist as well, even though that really completes the look. Either way, you should choose coats that are slim on the shoulders, because of the wideness of the skirt. That means no bomber jackets. Also, a leather jacket is a must! I think it’s a perfect contrast to the feminine vibe of the rest of the outfit. If you find a cropped leather jacket, like the one from H&M that you always see me in here on my blog, that’s perfect!

I hope you appreciated this little guide, and that you find building a feminine look and wardrobe is a bit easier now♥

Very interesting post ;) This is my favorite shape of skirts. It makes legs look thin and more sexy! :) I’m very addicted with the skirts. I like pants too, but skirts and dresses are always No1 for me, even I don’t wear them every day. I like your style, it is similar to my. Only thing I really like are high boots, and I’ve noticed you don’t wear them. I like to wear them on fall, combined with skirts of this shape, short skirts, and high boots with some good coat – so sexy :) Kisses :****

I am always described as feminine and having a girly wardrobe. I love feminine clothing! I have more dresses and skirts then I have jeans though, so I only wear black or brown jeans days I’m working. And as a cleaner.. Making skirts a little, uncomfortable and flashy ^_^

ÅÅ beklager, jeg tenkte på speilrefleksen. Olympus-kameraet heter Olympus PEN e-p5.
