Today is my big birthday bash, and I couldn’t be more excited! Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport is sweet enough to let me and my girlfriends celebrate in their best suite. I checked it out earlier this week, and it’s so fancy and huge! I can’t wait!! I’ve ordered yummy tapas and dessert for me and the ladies, I’ll show you lots of pics tomorrow!
Earlier today I made a video tutorial on how I make my curls, as I’ve been promising you that for years. I’ll post it once I have the time to edit a bit, probably tomorrow. So stay tuned girls :) So anywho, what I wanted to tell you about in this post is the Green Peel I did last week. After two 11-hour plane rides in one week, my skin was extremely dry. So when Beauty London asked me if I wanted to come down and test their new treatment Green Peel, I of course said yes on the spot. The treatment isn’t new, in fact it has been used for over 50 years, but very few salons here do it. Beauty London has just started doing it, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
The peel is completely natural, and is made out of 11 different herbs. That’s all! No acid or other stuff that can break your skin. The herbs penetrate deep into your skin, and removes all dead skin cells, and in addition they work extremely well against bacterias, and can work wonders on impurities/acne. Green Peel has actually won the ‘best special treatment‘ award at Beauty Forum Readers Choice awards four years in a row. There are four different strengths, I did the mildest one which is called ‘Fresh Up’, which gives an amazing glow and dewy skin tone. After the peel I got a moisturizing mask that looked and felt like cake frosting, haha. Needless to say I loved it!

To get the best result, it’s recommended to do this peel three times, with two weeks in between each treatment. Next time I’ll go for a stronger peel,the one called ‘Energy, active peel’, which is supposed to work more on impurities and large pores.
This treatment cost 1100kr, but if you have a tight budget and still want to try, you can also get just the peel, and not the moisturizing mask and massage, which will make it cheaper. My skin is definitely much more glowy and soft now after the peel, so I can warmly recommend it. You can also read the article Side2 did on Green Peel here, but they tested the strongest one.
