Last night I was still so hungover, so I did what always helps when my head feels like it’s about to explode; Eat and drink as much freshness as possible. Most people crave unhealthy food when they’re hungover, but I always crave a salad and icecold water with lemon. Lemon water is something I drink every single day by the way, I just can’t get enough. I always keep fresh lemons in my fridge, and tons of icecubes in my freezer. Every morning I make a jug filled with water, ice cubes and a sliced lemon, and fill it up all through the day. It’s so refreshing! But back to the salad. I thought I’d share my three favorite ingredients with you guys, as there are so many different ways of making salad..

Number one is hardboiled eggs, it’s so yummy to have in a salad! And it makes it much more filling. Then of course we have avocados, which I absolutely love and eat every day. Number three is a must in any salad I make; Nuts. Drizzle olive oil and seasalt over them, and either roast them in a pan or in the oven for a few minutes. It adds a delicious crunch to the salad, and tastes so good. My favorite is maccademia nuts, but I was all out last night. You should really try this, it’s so good!

Another thing I always do to make my salads better is adding this French dressing from Knorr. You mix the powder with three tablespoons of water, and three tablespoons of olive oil, and that’s it. It’s sooo good! 

Other than that, you can find different lettuce leaves like romano, baby leaf and arugula in my salad, plus yellow onion, red pepper, cucumber and cherry tomatoes. Cheese and chicken is great to add too!

New lilies also came home with me from the store yesterday, these are just oh-so-pretty..
