You guys know how much I love my Olympus Pen Ep-L7 by now, right? It has opened a whole new world for me blog-wise. The days of carrying a huge and super heavy camera around everywhere are over! This camera weighs like nothing, and the pictures turn out just as good as with any SLR camera, if not better. This must be my best present tips for Christmas, who doesn’t need a good camera? Whether you just want to capture special moments from your everyday life, pretty snapshots for your blog or bring it with you on vacation – everyone should have a good camera! The 45mm-lens is the one I use the most by far. It creates a blurry background while the focus point is super clear, in other words perfect for portraits and outfit shots, just to name a few. I have several friends who have put this camera on their wishlist after trying mine, and I tell everyone that they simply have to put the 45mm-lens on their wishlist as well. It creates picture magic!

A lot of people think that pictures snapped with their phones cover their need. Yes, phones nowadays can take pretty good photos, but let’s face it; The difference from pictures taken with phones to pictures taken with a good camera is so huge! One of the most fun things I know is look back at old pictures, whether it’s from my childhood or just pictures taken from a recent vacation. I would be so upset if I wanted to look back at pictures in ten years, and only had iPhone snapshots to look at! Here you can see the difference between iPhone and Olympus Pen Ep-L7. The pictures are taken at the same time with the same lighting.

As you can see, the difference is huge! The pictures turn out so much more delicate with the Olympus Pen. The picture doesn’t even really need any editing, but I like to make my blog pics light  and bright, so I made the last picture a tiny bit lighter. Here are some other pics I’ve snapped with my Olympus Pen lately..

Xmas Time

Hi lovebugs! As you know, all that’s in my head right now is exams, exams, exams. It hasn’t even really dawned on me that it’s Christmas time, until tonight. We just got back from the pre-xmas dinner with my boyfriend’s family, and I had the loveliest time. Now I’m full to the point where I can’t even try to suck in my stomach, but that’s the way it should be, right? The dinner took place at a super cool ship, and luckily my boyfriend and I couldn’t figure out where the ship was, so we ended up having to drive several times through the city center. That gave me the opportunity to snap these pics of my pretty city from the car! 

I mean, you can’t not get in the xmas spirits when you see this.. My outfit for the day was this super pretty beaded dress that came in the mail this morning.

Of course this ugly bus had to ruin my shot, hah. 

Now that it has dawned on me that it’s actually Christmas time, it’s time to decorate the house. I’ve given my boyfriend the task of getting all the decoration from the attic (attics totally creep me out), so tomorrow night when I’m done with my school work I’ll put xmas music on and decorate. I can’t wait! 

Now I’m beat after a long day and an expanded tummy filled with xmas food, so it’s time for the couch and watching tv-series with my man. We’re currently watching Bates Motel at Netflix, super fun and scary!

This look is just so me. The feminine silhouette mixed with casual elements and of course all white, is right up my alley.

This skirt from FWSS that my boyfriend got me for my birthday has been worn so much. I think it’s so incredibly pretty!

This coat from Lene‘s BikBok collection is just perfection. So sweet and chic, and it keeps me warm.

Duh, my birthday of course! Always the happiest day of the year for me, haha. 

  • Favorite decision

Starting school! Even though it’s stressful at times, I don’t regret it for a second. Here I am at the first day of school, so terrified and yet so excited. I have learned so much about how things around me and society works in just a couple of months of school, and it’s a great feeling. 

  • Favorite bag

Even though no bag can beat my darling Chanels, this is the bag I’ve used the most this fall by far. It fits my camera, phone, wallet and makeup, and is perfect to wear cross body which my Chanels are a bit too short for. It’s also nice that it was super budget friendly as opposed to my Chanels, so I don’t worry about it getting dirty or smashed, hah.

I’m so glad I got these boots from River Island while in London! I wear them almost every single day. 

  • Favorite dress

This super cute dress from BikBok must be one of my favorite new buys this fall. I absolutely adore the pattern and fit, and that it can be used for both daytime and nighttime.

My birthday bash with my friends. I decided to skip everything fancy schmancy, and go for a completely goofy and fun girls night. It was one of the best nights of my life! That unicorn mask seriously made the party, it still cracks me up!

Today I Want To Wear This

After my exam on Wednesday I went shopping for something to wear in Oslo, and this super adorable flower printed dress came home with me. Unfortunately I didn’t make it to Oslo, and this gorgeous dress is still unworn, bah. This is how I would wear it though, I absolutely love the contrast between flowers and leather! And of course, my Chanel would put the cherry on the sundae, along with matching nail polish from Essie and lipgloss from Chanel. Oh well, I guess I’ll find an occasion to wear this soon enough.. 

Movie Night

Now that I’m sick and in the middle of a hectic exam period, going out on a Saturday night is not an option. I don’t mind one bit though, as a cozy movie night in totally beats going out partying. Okay, maybe not every Saturday, but a good mix between the two is very much needed. So for those of you who are also staying in tonight, I thought I’d share some movie tips with some of my favorite movies. The problem is that I forget all the favorites that I have, haha, but these are the ones I could remember. When it comes to movies, I’m a sucker for light American entertainment, and I also love thrillers. I absolutely hate horror movies and anything involving zombies, I loose my sleep for weeks after those kind of films! 

1: Sex And The City The Movie 1 + 2: Super light and fun entertainment with oh-so many pretty clothes // 2: Knocked Up: One of the funniest movies I know // 3: American Hustle: So thrilling, fun and extremely good actors // 4: Life As We Know It: Another hilarious movie, and I have the biggest crush on Josh Duhamel // 5: Mean Girls: A classic, no words needed // 6: Magic Mike: Girls, if you haven’t already seen this, do it now!! Just trust me on this.. // 7: Horrible Bosses: Hilarious!! // 8: The Wolf of Wall Street: One of the best movies I seen // 9: Now You See Me: Thrilling, mindblowing and exciting

Hi lovelies! I’m sorry for the late update, I’m still sick in bed, and feeling so awful. Luckily a nice surprise came in the mail today which made me smile; My favorite Instagram pictures with polaroid frames! I’ve been wanting a polaroid camera for so long, and I have a feeling that it will be waiting for me under the Christmas tree, but before that I thought I’d cheat a little bit. These pictures weren’t exactly taken with a Polaroid, but who would know? I used the app Printic, chose my favorite Instagram snapshots and today I got a full box of polaroid framed pictures. My plan is to make a little wall collage with these. So easy – and so smart! 

Other than that, I’ve been bed-bound all day, but luckily I’ve been able to work with my exam paper as well. Turns out that a business school doesn’t really care if you’re not feeling well before an exam, hah. Now it’s back to analytics, strategies and a bunch of stuff I don’t understand – have a great evening loves♥

Zimmermann Resort ’15

Zimmermann’s resort 2015 collection must be one of the prettiest collections I’ve ever seen! I want absolutely everything, especially all the white pieces. I rarely spend big amounts of money on one piece of clothing, but I think I’ll have to make an exception. I mean, I could get married in that first dress!! 

Other than that, I think my exam went fine and I’m ready for a date night. It’s impossible to know how it went before they publish the correct answers, but I know I’m not going to fail at least. It felt so weird having my first big exam of my bachelor’s degree! I was completely cool and calm up until the point when I got the exam on my desk. Then my heart started racing, my body started shaking, and I completely lost my cool, hah. But I think I managed to pull through either way. Now it’s time for dinner and a show with my boyfriend, before packing for Oslo is on the menu. I hope you’ve all had a great day♥

Study Snacks

Oh my God you guys! As you’re reading this, I’m at my first exam, which is so surreal. I haven’t had an exam in so many years, and hopefully it will be smooth sailing. This is obviously a pre-written post, I’m not that obsessed with blogging that I’ll do it from the exam, hah. I just wanted to put a post up as I won’t have a lot of time today. After my exam I thought I’d hit the stores and see if I can find something cute to wear for tomorrow’s girls night in Oslo, and this morning my boyfriend surprised me with show tickets for tonight to celebrate me finishing my first exam. We’re seeing ‘Mann 44’ with the Norwegian comedian Bård Tufte Johansen, who is one of the funniest people I know. After that I have to pack for Oslo, but I’ll try to update you later.

Oh, and to the point of this post. I’ve figured out that I study best when I’m happy, and what makes me happy? Food!! Haha. A bit sad, but it’s the truth. So yesterday while doing the last preps I indulged in cheese and crackers, grapes, tea and chocolate. YUMS! Yesterday I woke up with a fever so I didn’t get too much done, but luckily I feel prepared either way.

Olympus Girls Night

Hei jenter♥ I samarbeid med Stylista og Olympus har jeg gleden av å invitere dere til et event jeg gleder meg kjempemasse til; Nemlig Olympus Girls Night. Det blir rød løper, champagne, sushi, mingling, en eksklusiv konsert med Tini, og selvsagt fokus på foto. En profesjonell fotograf, som jeg har vært så heldig å jobbe med før, vil være til stede og ta bilder av alle som kommer. Han er så flink! Bildene får man ta med seg hjem, supergøy! Jeg kommer til å være der sammen med mine fine bloggkolleger Annette, Ulrikke, Ingrid og Benedicthe, og jeg gleder meg så masse! 

De 150 første som kommer vil få en fantastisk goodiebag. I tillegg vil fire goodiebags med ekstra flotte premier bli delt ut til heldige vinnere utover kvelden. MOO kommer også til å være til stede og vise frem sin nyeste veske PEN by MOO, som er spesialdesignet til Olympus Pen-kameraet.
