I’ve already showed you these two new gorgeous nail polishes that I got when I made the Christmas present tips post for Wah Wah, but I haven’t showed you what they look like on yet. These are so pretty that I just have to show you! They are so shiny and pretty, and the colors are perfection. I haven’t worn any other nail polish since I got these! In addition to looking pretty, they are so easy to apply. The consistency is more like a light gel than liquid like most other nail polishes, which makes it almost impossible to spill. The gold one is called Aveta, and the burgundy one is called Laha♥

 I can’t even tell you how wonderful it feels to soak some sun again. A short (okay, not that short) plane ride from winter cold Norway, and suddenly we’re in sunny Lanzarote with 27 degrees and not a cloud in sight. This is my first time doing a charter trip during wintertime, but it will definitely not be the last. That moment when I first stepped foot outside of the airplane, and a heatwave came at me.. Ahh, fantastic!!

Our plane was delayed because of the storm that’s been going on though, and I hadn’t slept even one minute the night before leaving. That obviously resulted in a very tired Cath, and when I’m tired, I have very little control on what comes out of my mouth, even if I’m sleeping. Oh yes, I managed to talk in my sleep on the plane, and I pray to God that no one heard our conversation!

Me: Do you have the password for the flower kingdom???
Sis: Uh, what?
Me: The password for the flower kingdom!! I need it now!! Don’t you work at CTU?

Haha, someone has clearly watched too much 24! For those of  you who don’t know the show, the main characters work at CTU, and they always need a lot of passwords. Not to the flower kingdom though, that one was new. It sounds like a pretty cool place! The weird thing is that I remember the conversation, I was asleep but still awake. Weird!!

So anhwho, we arrived here last night, and we’ve just soaked in the sun all day, and I even got some color! It’s mostly on the red-scale though, but color is color, even though I sort of look like a lobster. This whole charter thing is usually something that doesn’t interest me all that much, I prefer to go to new places and explore on my own. But it is pretty fantastic, I have to say. It’s just no stress at all, just relaxing and gathering energy from the sun, eat, sleep, then repeat. Lovely! Today I read the former blogger Linnéa Myhre’s book ‘Evig Søndag’, which was great.  I’ve been very lucky in my life, and haven’t had to deal with any struggles worth mentioning, so reading about how a deeply depressed mind in an anorexic body works was very interesting. So many dark thoughts, I can’t even imagine how it must be too live with them.

Okay, now I’m really just rambling, I was just gonna share these status rapport pics from my day before I have to finish an interview with VG that I need to send tomorrow morning.

Doesn’t it look nice? The hotel is huge, it’s like a little village, with nine different pools,  many different restaurants, a free bar, tennis courts and everything you could wish for on a charter trip, hah.

I’m so glad I did lash extensions before I left, because doing my makeup now takes like three minutes, which is perfect for vacation. The lashes are done by the lovely Karen Austin, the same woman who did my sister’s lashes for her wedding (check out the post and read more about her here). She’s such a sweet lady, talented and a quick worker. It seems like most girls think the more, the better, when it comes to lash extensions, but I actually like them best after 2-3 weeks, when it looks more natural. So this time I asked Karen if she could do a very natural look on me, and it didn’t even take an hour. I love the result!

Now I really have to do that intverview, hah. I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend♥
