9 Comments | Tips & Tricks

So as you know I’m trying to shed a few, but at the same time become healthier over all. So I’m trying to eat lots of fruit and veggies. So do you remember this tips I gave you when I was in NY? I figured I’d try to make the same juice myself. Yummy and super healthy!

All it consists of is oranges, carrots, ice cubes, a little lemon juice and a little orange juice. I can imagine it’s super yummy to add apples too!

Yummy and figure friendly : )

Yummy Salad

10 Comments | Tips & Tricks

Today we made the best salad! I’m a big salad girl. I love that you can just toss whatever you want into a bowl and it turns out good almost every time. You need..

..the meat of your choice, avocado, salad, red onions and diced cheese in chili&garlic marinade. Just slice everything up, and cook the meat..

Toss it around in a bowl, and enjoy. Super duper yummy and easy to make : )

Skin Care Tips

11 Comments | Tips & Tricks

As I’ve written several times, I love Dermalogica’s skin care products. I thought I’d tip you guys on where I always purchase them. In Norway, the products are so much more expensive than what you can find online. I always order my products from StrawberryNet. They have amazing prices, free shipping and if you need to pay customs (toll), they refund it :O You just need to pay it and send a picture of the receipt to them, and they’ll transfer the amount to you. Crazy, but I love it!! Here are my mus thaves:

Special Cleansing Gel – Morning and evenings

Active Moist – Mornings and evenings if necessary

Gentle Cream Exfoliant – Twice a week

Intensive Moisture Masque – Twice a week (right after the exfoliation)

Arabian Dream

13 Comments | Tips & Tricks

After getting a smoothie recipe book for xmas, I just have to share this one with you, called the Arabian Dream. You need 3 dl milk, 3-400 grams of frozen strawberries, an orange or two and two tablespoons of honey.

Mix it all together in a blender, and enjoy. Sooo good.

..and super duper healthy, to make up for my horribly unhealthy burger recipe yesterday, tihi : )

Tapas at Escalon

26 Comments | Tips & Tricks

Oh my God, why haven’t I been here before? I loved it.

We went to the one by Fløybanen, which is a little under ground, so this was our window view. So cosy : )

Our conversation at the dinner..

Mona: Vet du ka folk siar at blåskjell lignar på?
Cathrine: En fitte?
Mona: CATHRINE!! :O

I mean, excuse my french, but come on..

Haha. I did not eat that..

You’re always asking me for Bergen tips (or, at least two of you have), so here you go! Go to Escalon and order tapas. Stay away from the potato tortilla, and prepare for a horrible garlic breath afterwards. Otherwise; Perfection.

Christmas Present Tips

13 Comments | Tips & Tricks

For the girlfriends or for your sister; buy the Lauren Conrad trilogy or the Style Guide. I haven’t read the style guide yet, nor Sugar and Spice for that matter, but I loved the two first books.

You might not get them signed like I did, but what can you do… (I just needed to brag a little, I’m done now)

Homemade Sushi

27 Comments | Tips & Tricks

The homemade sushi was such a success! Here’s what you need:

Sushi rice, dried sea weed, avocados, wasabi mix, rice sweetener, soy sauce and salmon.

Start making the rice. At first, it needs to be in cold water for 30 minutes. Then you bring it to a boil, and wait until all the water is absorbed in the rice. Then it needs to cool off. See how here.

While the rice is boiling/cooling off, chop the avocados and the salmon so everything’s ready.

To make wasabi, simply blend two tea spoons of wasabi powder with one tea spoon of water.

The result. Sooo delicious! To make the nigiris you just roll a bit of rice and put some salmon on top. Piece of cake! Soo much food though. Now we have dinner for like a month!
