I Miss NYC

68 Comments | New York 2011

Last night I was looking through my archives from this summer, and I almost cried. I miss NY so much! Not like I want to move there in the near future, because life at home in the new apartment is perfect! But I need to go soon, I really do! I read somewhere that you can order a book of all your blog posts. I definitely want to do that with all my NY posts! They make me so happy :) Here’s a picture bash of some of my favorite pictures of my summer in the city:

Good Morning Lovelies

19 Comments | New York 2011

I’m up early today!! Which is very rare, to be honest.. Luckily it’s just because I’m going to the spa, so it’s ok :) What is more relaxing than that? To be honest I’ve been totally exhausted since what happened, so this Wah Wah trip couldn’t come on a better day!! I’ve had a very relaxing weekend, which was nice.. Saturday I needed some alone time, so I sent my boyfriend to his friends, and watched ‘Klovn The Movie’ twice in a row.. Haha, such a masterpiece! If you haven’t seen it, see it!! Amazeballs. Yesterday was spent with my family celebrating my sister’s birthday and watching the Brann match.. Fingers crossed for Torp, whose heart stopped towards the end of the game.. So awful.. My eyes were filled with tears immediately, and I sincerely hope he’ll be ok!!! <3

I’m so out of it, so this was the best picture I could do.. Hope I’ll look better after the spa trip, this simply isn’t working for me, haha.. I wish you all a wonderful day, and happy happy birthday to the best sister in the world Linn Therese <3 Love you!!! <3

Diffuse Glow

15 Comments | New York 2011

Hi lovelies. How are you all doing today? I have a great day in front of me, I’m going interior shopping with Ulrikke. I’m feeling kind of weird now a days.. Maybe it’s the transition from living in New York to living in Bergen. I’m soo stoked to be home, but now I kind of just don’t know what to do with myself.. In New York, there’s always something to do, and every morning when I woke up, I was always so excited to go out and experience new things. But Bergen is different.. Now I’m like “How in the world should I fill my days?“. Maybe I’m just meant to live in NY. I’m also so disgusted by everything that’s happening, almost on a daily basis around the world. Too many people has lost their lives this summer, and too many things seem so unfair.. 22.07, London riots, hunger in Africa, freaking Gaddafi and everything’s that happening in Libya.. I mean, how can you not be depressed? Why can’t everyone just be kind to each other? Well, I have fun things coming up, and I’ll try to focus on that. My new apartment, economic studies, blogging, photo shoots (Note to self: Stop going to McDonalds on a daily basis), and my birthday on Saturday. I’m totally just rambling, I’ll zip it now, and just wish you a wonderful day :)

Oh, and about the headline, I found this cute filter on Photoshop called ‘Diffuse Glow’. I’m kind of loving it.

34th Street

3 Comments | New York 2011

Shopping in NY is often associated with SoHo or 5th Avenue. However, I actually really like 34th street! The stores aren’t that crowded, and all my favorite chain stores are represented here. You can see my shopping guide for 34th street here.

Last Night’s Look

7 Comments | New York 2011

Dress: Here (ad), Bag: Chanel, Belt: Mango, Tights: Cubus, Heels: Topshop

Last night was so much fun! Tonje and I walked around in our dresses and heels, had NY slices of pizza, checked out Time’s Square and other touristy things, then finished off the evening with a trip to the movies! This is actually our third time to the movies this week, haha. Losers? Maybe.. Anyways, the movie we saw was so hilarious!!! The Change-Up. I thought it was gonna be really lame, as the storyline  seemingly sucked after watching the trailer, but it really cracked us up! I’m usually never one to laugh really loudly when watching a movie, I’m more like a single-‘hah’ girl. But, this movie.. It was just too funny!! Earlier this week we’ve seen ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ and ‘Smurfs’. The first one was not that great, but Smurfs was awesome!!

The Spotted Pig

8 Comments | New York 2011

You have to visit The Spotted Pig if you’re ever in NY! Tonje and I went there yesterday, and it was so nice! We sat there for hours and hours, had delicious food and lots of wine! We shared a grilled cheese sandwich (which we only ordered because I’ve read that it’s Jennifer Aniston’s fave on the menu) and a huge portion of fries, and had delicious Chardonnay. My favorite wine! The restaurant is so cute, quirky and charming, located in my favorite NY area, the West Village.

How cute is the place?!?

Central Park

11 Comments | New York 2011

Yesterday Tonje and I spent the day being super childish in Central Park. We walked around, giggled, took the carousel, and had ice cream. Such a perfect day!!

After I had eaten my popsicle, I noticed that my tongue and lips had gone blue.. Great!! I just had to rock the look, as it didn’t disappear for hours, haha. Not to self: Don’t eat more blue popsicles!!
