Fringes

Bag: Here // Top: Asos // Skirt: BikBok // Necklace: Zara // Sandals: Here (adlinks)

Hi lovebugs! I totally forgot to post the rest of the outfit pictures that we shot last week, so here they are. I’m so in love with this bag! And the sandals have become such favorites already.

Today is another lovely summer day here in Bergen, it’s so hot and sunny out. Unfortunately for me I have a few hours left of accounting work to do, and I can’t wait to be done with it. I booked a lash extensions appointment later as a little reward, I’m just so addicted to it! It’s actually pretty bad when you feel like you don’t look like yourself without false eyelashes on, hah. But that’s the way it is now. I feel so naked without them, so I can’t wait to get fresh ones on.

Have a lovely day you guys♥

Skirt: Here // Blouse: Zara //  SandalsHere //Belt: Asos (adlinks)

This new week started with pouring rain outside, so I shot some pics of my new adorable skirt inside. Isn’t it cute? Just as I’m writing this it’s suddenly become super sunny and amazing outside, which makes me oh-so-happy! My cousin and I had already made movie plans based on the crappy weather, but I think we need to still go for it. We’re seeing my new bestie Channing Tatum’s movie 22 Jump Street, even though I’ve already seen it. It’s so hilarious!! You seriously have to go see it.

Thank you so much for all the tips and advice you left me yesterday regarding school by the way! I have a lot of thinking to do, I’m still so confused.. I’ll let you know what I decide, thanks again♥

Stripes & Leather

Top: Here // Necklace: ByBenedicthe // Skirt: Here // Bag: Chanel // Sunnies: Tom Ford // Hat: Lindex (adlinks)

On days when you don’t know what to wear, stripes is always the answer! It’s so chic and gives me a Parisian vibe, which reminds me I should really visit Paris soon. It’s been too long! Anywho, this striped crop top is a must in any girl’s wardrobe, and it’s super budget friendly too. This is probably more of a fall outfit than summer outfit, but that’s because fall has arrived in Bergen already. Rain, wind and grey skies, in July! This is so bad. Hopefully summer will return asap, this just isn’t working for me. Oh well, have a lovely day you guys♥

Keep It Simple

White and gold must be one of my all time favorite combinations. During our trip to the US comfort was key, and fancy outfits had to take the back seat. This top from Asos and skirt from Zara was worn so much, I love easy breezy pieces like these. With gold accessories and of course my golden sandals, this was a perfect simple outfit for both spending hours in the car driving to new destinations, exploring new areas in the blistering heat, and stopping at cute cafés by the road to enjoy some lunch in the American desert.

Summer Days

Happy Saturday beautiful people. I have to say, these summer days; Livin’ is easy. Especially when it’s Saturday, my favorite day of the week! This weekend I’ll just enjoy every single minute that I’m awake. Last night was spent with my bestie Amalie, and now I won’t get to see her for two weeks as she’s off to Thailand. Tonight I’m having dinner with Cynthia and the girls, and I won’t get to see her for a whoppin’ 6 months as whe’s taking a semester in Australia. That’s the only downside with summer; My friends being away. But who knows, maybe I’ll hop on a plane and go visit Cynthi down under! I’ve always wanted to go there. But for now, Bergen is perfectly OK. I hope you enjoy the weekend as much as I intend to do♥

Summer Night Look

Norwegian summer nights can be magical and warm, but as soon as the sun goes down the goosebumps start to appear. A leather jacket to throw over your shoulders is perfect for that, so that was a must for me at last night’s girls night at Fride’s terrace. Other than that, I wore two new buys which I’m in love with, this skirt and top from BikBok. I wear so many high waisted skirts, so I can never get enough crop tops. Tucking in long tops in thin highwaisted skirts doesn’t always look that cute, so halleluja for crop tops! This skirt will be worn plenty this summer too, it’s so casual and comfortable. The bag is my oldie but goodie from Alexander Wang, the hat is new from Lindex and the shoes are old from Zara :)

Casual in Navy

Hi sweets! I just got back from a mountain hike and an attempt for a shopping spree. It might be hard to believe, but I seriously almost don’t have any summerclothes. All I have I pretty much showed you in the US, so in stead of dressing up in a pretty new summer dress, a more casual look was neccessary today. I sold almost all my summer dresses at the pop up shop back in March, which I sort of regret now, hah. I of course didn’t find anything on the shopping spree though, I’m so picky when it comes to clothes! So a little visit to my favorite online stores like Nelly, Asos and Free People is on the menu for me now, before spending the rest of the day outside in the fab summer weather. I guess it’s fun to post more casual looks on the blog too, and I really like this new top. It cost like $8 at Forever 21, and the skirt is from Zara.

Thriller

Kimono: Urban Outfitters // Skirt: Lindex // Top: Forever21 // Sandals: Zara // Bag: Chanel

Hello from Norway! After as much as thirty hours of traveling we got home last night, more tired than I’ve ever been before I think. In addition there’s the 9 hours time difference, which makes me jetlaged like crazy. It’s so weird to be home after three weeks of constant adventure and exploring new places. It’s a little bittersweet, but it’s definitely good to be home too. The first thing I did was go pick up Bella, who peed all over herself (and me) in excitement. I’ve been cuddling nonstop with her ever since, finally I’m reunited with my little furball!

This is an outfit from Las Vegas which I’ve totally forgotten to blog. On our last night in Vegas we headed to Cirque De Soleil’s show ‘Michael Jackson – One’, which was nothing less than breathtaking. The dancing, acrobatics, visual effects – it all blew my mind! I can’t believe there are such incredibly talented people out there. I love Michael Jackson’s music, so seeing the most talented group of dancers perform to some of my favorite songs like Beat It, Thriller, Smooth Criminal ++ was just magic. I can’t recommend the show enough if you’re ever in Vegas!

Now it’s time to ignore the jetlag and start getting productive here. Unpacking and doing laundry just has to be done today, as we’re off again tomorrow. Thanks for following me through my adventure in the US you guys, it has been so much fun sharing everything with you <3

Au Revoir Desert Life

After a fantastic time in the desert, my boyfriend and I are off for our new destination, which is *drumroll* LOS ANGELES! I’m so incredibly excited, I’ve been wanting to go there for so long. As I mentioned I’m happy to leave Las Vegas, but I’m really gonna miss Utah and the little town Moab. Unforgettable memories were made there! My parents and my sister are staying here before going home tomorrow, so now it’s just the two of us. We’ve rented a super chic apartment in Beverly Hills, and now we’re off to pick up our rental car and hit the road.

I have to admit, I’ve found it really difficult to find time to blog the past week. We’ve seriously been on the go all day, every awake minute. So I’ve ended up blogging either when everyone else has gone to bed, or before they wake up. Now that it’s just me and my man, I hope I’ll get more time to blog. We’re very chillaxed when we’re traveling, we don’t plan too much and like to be spontaneous rather than following a schedule. I’ll see you from Beverly Hills darlings. Oh, and every LA tip you have, you’re welcome to share. Like places to eat, things to do, and so on. I haven’t done any research, so I’m solely relying on your tips, hah♥

Touchdown In Tokyo

Hello from TOKYO!! I don’t even know where to begin, this trip has been amazing already and we just got here! We traveled for almost 24 hours, but it was all just majorly fun. My boyfriend had booked us business class tickets, so at the layover we just hung out in the business lounge, and the 11 hour flight to Tokyo felt like it was more like 3 hours. We were soo excited the whole trip, and I’m telling you, I could’ve spent the whole vacation in my seat and still have an awesome vacay. When entering the plane I was thinking to myself “Come on Cath, be cool, try to fit in, look like you belong here..“, but that thought was quickly interrupted once I saw the seat and proclaimed “HOLY SHIT, there’s a massage function in our seats and we get a three course dinner and CHECK out the duvets, and oh my God there’s a buffet right behind us and look at the toiletries, we even get socks!!!!!!“. Yep, my project to fit in went south before the plane even took off. I didn’t mind at all though, we had such a great time on the plane! This is a luxury I can definitely get used to!

And speaking of luxury, our hotel is i-n-s-a-n-e!! It’s huge and super luxurious, and in the middle of the best shopping district in Tokyo; Shibuya. The room is really big with a walkincloset, a huge bathroom and the shower is in its own room the size of an average Tokyo apartment. Crazy!

We have the sickest panorama view of the city from the 34th floor, the picture doesn’t do it justice at all. There’s lots more fun things to see on the sides too, but it’s so cloudy today so I thought I’d take some better pictures when it lights up a bit. Imagine this view when it’s dark, I can’t wait to see it!

My traveling outfit consisted of a skirt from Lindex, sweater from Asos, hat from Cubus, bag from Mulberry and loafers from Topshop.

I tried to take some good pics of my boyfriend, but it’s simply impossible. Every time I say ‘Smile’ and point the camera at him, he does these super awkward poses, haha. Here’s one of them..

It’s so hot here, over 30 degrees, so after the short walk from the train to the hotel we were drenched. Now we’ve showered, put on our robes and we’re ready for a little nap time before exploring the city. The weather is really bad today even though it’s hot, it’s raining and there’s lots of lightning and thunder,  so a little alone time inside is perfect. This trip is the best birthday present ever, and I just know that our stay here will be beyond unforgettable and romantic. I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to experience something this amazing with the love of my life! Okay, enough rambling, nap time! Have a lovely day sweeties♥
