Cath Recommends..

The perfect self tanner for the face. I’ve used it for years. It gives you a gradual and super natural glow, which I’m obsessed with : ) And it’s pretty cheap too! Perfect.

False Eye Lashes

I’m constantly getting questions about false eye lashes; which ones do I use, how do I apply them, how long do they last and so on.. To see how I apply them, take a look on this post.

Right now I actually use the ones from H&M , which are really good, except a little hard to put on as they’re somewhat stiff. But never use the glue from H&M. You don’t want that in your eyes. I also love the lashes from MAC and Depend.

So here’s a little trick on how to be able to wear them over and over again. When you’re removing them you should always use water so you don’t rip off your own lashes. After that, they’ll be sticky and look like this:

Use one of these..

..and comb the wet lashes..

..so they look like this..

I usually remove the old glue the next morning when they’re dry, as they often break when they’re so wet.

So this way you can use you’re lashes over and over again : )

Clever, huh?

Sunday Giveaway

As I’m feeling horrible today (you know; sneezing, caughing, red eyes, the whole package), I thought I’d at least make someone else happy.. So I’m giving away a Trésemme shampoo and conditioner. They’re really good, I love them! All you need to do is to leave a comment on this post : ) Maybe this can be a good christmas gift if you’re not done with all the girlfriends yet..?

How To Make Your Lips Look Bigger

Please feel free to ignore my totally messy hair, as well as the fact that I looked like a clown with big lips, haha. You can of course use any lipstick or lipgloss in whatever color you want. If I’m doing this a gain I think I’ll use a darker gloss..Here are the products I used:

Lipliner and brush from Sheercover in the color Berry (this was sponsored, thanks so much to Star PR), concealer from Clinique in the color 01 Fair, concealer brush from Ecotools (bought in NY) and lipgloss from Victoria’s Secret in the color Grapefruit Blast, also from NY : )

Makeup Tips

If you look sort of tired, a light concealer can be your savior. Apply it under your eyes and “drag” it up towards the temple. This gives you a mini face lift. Also apply it under your eyebrows. This really opens your eyes. I’ve chosen a very thin concealer from Clinique, in the color 01 Fair, the lightest. It’s also perfect to use on the lips when you want nude lips.

This is the miracle worker, except it’s pink now. I’ve been using it for years. You’ll get the best result by using a concealer brush.
