I don’t have words to describe my obsession with this amazing jacket from Bik Bok by Angelica Blick. I love it!! It’s very unlike anything I have in my wardrobe, and I know that this is going to be a ‘go-to’ jacket for everything from running errands in casual attire to dressing up and going out. Was I the only one sitting ready on bikbok.com when they launched the whole collection? Come to think about it I couldn’t have been, because everything sold out in minutes. At least all the goodies. Luckily I got everything I wanted except from the earrings, they vanished after like a minute. I got the pretty white and rose gold bag, the matching rings, the black trousers and a few more things, and I can’t wait to get them!
Other than that, I’ve had a very relaxing weekend, which I love, because it allows me to go in to my creative zone. Last night I started sewing a dress, and just now I did a little DIY project for a heavenly spa product. A blog post i of course coming up later! Now I’m off to a family barbecue, volleyball matches in the garden and of course watching soccer with the gang. After that I’ll try to finish my dress, I’m crossing my fingers that it turns out nice! There are so many little things that need to be done when sewing a dress, you can’t just sew the pieces together and wear it. Hems need to be secured, which takes a lot of focus and a lot of time, among other things. I have to admit, it’s probably not my best work, but hopefully it turns out pretty enough to wear it to a birthday party next weekend.
