Big Eyes Weekend Edition

Since it’s weekend time, I thought my second makeup look with the Maybelline Big Eyes mascara should be more of a party look. The last look I did was more of an everyday wear look, so this time I applied heavier eye makeup, using the exact same products. The only difference is a liquid eyeliner, also from Maybelline, which was added to the mix.

I’ve used this new mascara every day since I got it. The fact that it has a smaller brush on one side for the lower lashes, and a bigger one on the other side for the upper lashes, is simply genius! It makes my lashes look longer and fuller, and the application is super easy because of the two different brushes.

For my eyeshadow I used the same palette as last time, but this time I used more of the darkest brown color all over my lids, in addition to my crease and the outer corners of my eyes. I always start with the light base shadow, as it has a primer in it which makes the eyeshadow last all through the night. Because this is more of a party look, I also put the darkest brown color along the lower lash line. After putting on eyeshadow, I applied the wet liner on my upper lash line. I made it thicker from the middle of my eyes and out, and ended it in a cat eye shape.To make my eyes pop a little extra, I finished the look by applying black eyeliner on the wet line, from the middle and out.
