I’ve always had a thing for Ray Ban Aviators -of course they have always been too pricy for my sunglasses-budget. However, one evening I was walking around Oslo with a friend and stumbled over a Ray Ban case, my friend urged me to check if they contained the sunglasses so I picked it up and what do you know -inside were a pair of aviators in perfect shape! Perhaps it was the wrong thing to do, to just take them with me home.. but I am justifying it by the fact that it was late and if I hadn’t taken them someone else would have -or even worse, they would have been run over!! Plus, I like the idea of them being “hand-me-down” and I often wonder what their history is..
