Hi lovelies♥ If I look cranky in the sneak peek, that’s just because I am, haha. I’m normally one of the happiest people I know, but the last few days I’ve surprised myself with crankiness. Suddenly things I never pay any attention to annoys the heck out of me. I guess I’ve just been on such a high the last few weeks with France and the wedding, combined with a major sleep deprivation, it’s really catching up with me, and it was time for a few low days I guess. Barcelona has been OK so far, and I usually don’t want to complain, but I just have to get it out; The weather is cold so chances are I’ll come home even paler than when I got here. I attempted tanning yesterday but my goosebumps could probably be spotted all the way from China, so I gave it up and we went shopping instead. The food at the hotel is disgusting so I’ve been living on melon for the last two days, the hotel is nice but the area around is everything but, and the other people staying at the hotel are mostly sixty plus, have pink hair (!) and like to surround the whole pool area tanning topless. We payed extra to get a nice view, but oh no, the view over the garden is just more old boobs, and a few butt cracks here and there. I mean, when you pass 30, or even 40, wrap the titties up, would ya?? Not to mention that the wifi here sucks balls. Okay, there I’m done complaining, and now that I got it out of my system I cross my fingers that those things won’t annoy me anymore. Right now I’m giving tanning while reading about Harry Hole another chance, the full outfit is coming up later♥
Deilig innlegg! Liker litt pissed off innlegg innimellom! Føler meg veldig sånn for tiden selv, så deilig at noen kan uttrykke det istedet for at alt alltid er like rosa :) Selvom det er kjempebra å uttrykke det hvis det faktisk er realiteten!
Hehe ja, syns det er viktig å være ærlig og ikke fremstille alt så perfekt :) Bra det ikke er alt for kjedelig å lese ;p
Om du vil ha god mat i Barcelona kan jeg anbefale Bun Bo vietnamesisk restaurant! De har kjempegod og billig middag, og herlige mojitos :-) Verdt et besøk! Ligger litt bortgjemt i en sidegate som heter Plaça d’Isidre Nonell, ved katedralen i Barcelona.

Huff, så kjedelig at du får en slik opplevelse av Barcelona :( Jeg drar dit selv på mandag. Har vært der en gang tidligere, og da var det helt fantastisk! Håper oppholdet ditt tar seg opp relativt fort :) Ha en fortsatt fin ferie! Sender deg mange gode klemmer :)

Dumt dere var uheldig med både vær og hotell. Barcelona er jo helt fantastisk med nydelig arkitektur og (som regel) fantastisk vær slik at man kan kombinere strand og storby :) Et tips kan jo være å bo litt nærmere sentrum neste gang, og det kan også være en ide å leie en leilighet gjennom et firma. Sist vi var der bodde vi hjertet av sentrum i en stor, fantastisk leilighet rett over Casa Batllo, og det kostet ikke mer enn et fint hotell. Det kommer jo an på hva man liker, men da står man kanskje litt friere :) Uansett håper jeg du får finere dager fremover :) Hvis ikke må du gi Barcelona en ny sjanse senere, lover at du vil like det! :) Fortsatt god ferie!

I just had my 31st birthday last week. Although I would never go topless I totally disagree with your implication that 30 or 40 is old. It’s amazing how fast 30 creeps up on you – you will see for yourself very soon. There is nothing better than the wisdom and confidence growing older gives you. And I love the way I look just as much now as i did at 23. Having said that, the last few months I’ve felt like your blog has been a bit juvenile. This post really confirms that for me and I’m not sure I will be back.

Where are you staying? That sounds horrible! I am planning a trip to Barcelona in August/September and one of the things I am most afraid of is getting a bad hotel and bad food :(
It’s not so bad, haha. I just had a really bad day yesterday! The hotel is nice!! :)

I understand, I wrote the text in frustration, and I definitely don’t think 30 is old! I do think it’s inappropriate to tan topless in a four star hotel though, I don’t want to see anyone’s boobs, no matter what age they are. I don’t agree with you that my blog is juvenile, but you’re entitled to your opinion and no one forces you to read :)

I adore your blog, love your style and I’ve been a reader for many years. I really hope you get a better vacay in Barcelona then it started. But, I’m surprised you think 30 is old?! Now at age 33, it makes me feel like you don’t want me or readers my age to visit your blog? I would never tan topless in a city hotel, but still, I don’t think you should have to be ashamed of and hide your boobs just because you hit 30 or 40. Of course young beauty will always be the ideal, and you are the very ideal right now, but I hope that some time in the future women will be regarded as beautiful no matter what age and not shamed in to hiding in the closet. I think women should celebrate each other and our bodies, not judge. The media and men do it so much already! If I’m going to think of my self as old from 30 to 90 I’m going to be old a very long time! ;) I have always supported you and still will, just wanted to say, that you may lose readers over 30 if you will relate to us as old! :) Any way, your beautiful and do an amazing job with your blog!
