July
July started out really boring, as all of my friends were away on holidays and I was the only one at home.. I enjoyed fab summer weather and got to wear lots of cute summer dresses though..
Once my friends came home we got together for lots of fun in the sun..
I went to Copenhagen with my man..
August
August started with a short but sweet business trip to Oslo..
..before a week of enjoying Norwegian summer at its best was on the menu. My family and I headed to our summerhouse in Kristiansand, and I had the best and most relaxing time. I love that place!
I enjoyed a day of Facebook fame, also known as a birthday..
And as my gift, my boyfriend took me to Tokyo, Japan! One of the most incredible trips of my life. We flew business class which was so fun to try, and we had the sickest view over Tokyo from our hotel room. I want to go back so badly!
We spent a day in Arashiyama, a little village outside of Kyoto, and checked out the famous bamboo groves and a more quiet and ‘real’ Japan than the hectic life in Tokyo..
September
I celebrated my birthday with my best girlfriends..
I started working out with a personal trainer, after a year’s break from the gym..
I suddenly found myself in quite a dilemma, when I was asked to come for a free trip to Singapore, and got offered the dream job. Both things happened at the same time, so I had to pick one of them. After lots of great input from you guys I ended up saying yes to be a vintage fashion show coordinator for the United Nations Association here in Bergen, and I don’t regret it for a second! I spent a lot of time working on that this month..
I went to Oslo for business and a fabulous dinner with one of my favorite brands, Gestuz..
And I finally got to stay at The Thief in Oslo, so cool!
October
I was amazed by the beautiful fall colors here in Bergen..
Spent a hotel weekend in Bergen with the most amazing view with C, and we registered our new business.. We’ve been working so much on it since June, and it’s mostly been all boring paperwork. Now the real fun starts, and I can’t wait to let you guys in on our little secret!
I spent so much time working on the fashion show.. Lots of meetings, pulling outfits from different vintage stores in Bergen, fittings with the models, handling all the logistics for everything.. Puh!
My new CathInTheCity for MOO products came out, and I was sooo happy with them!
At the end of the month it was finally time for the big day of the fashion show. I was the host, and I was soo nervous about being on a stage, speaking in a microphone in the middle of Torgallmenningen (the very center of Bergen), in front of hundreds of people.. It was a huge success, and I was so happy it was done, hah. I don’t think I’ve told you about this, but during my work with the show I had to deal with the most awful woman I’ve ever met. I got hysterically yelled at so many times, I even thought she would punch me in the face, and everyone were almost scared of her. On the day of the show she even managed to attack my bestie Tonje who worked as a model coordinator, and I saw it from the stage in the middle of a sentence. I got totally out of it, and I remember standing there being so furious, but I had to smile and pretend like nothing happened. So after the show we celebrated both that it was a success, and that neither of us ever had to see her again. It was a learning experience though, not everyone you meet in life have common curtesy or positivity.
Other than that crazy woman, the day of the show was amazing! Here are some of my favorite looks from the runway..
With my amazing models♥
November
November was a pretty slow month. I was actually pretty down this month from personal reasons, but there were a few highlights. The biggest one being the launch party of my new MOO products. Walking on the street in Oslo and suddenly seeing my name in a store window; HUGE!
My Oslo bound friends came to support me, and we had such a fun night!
I shared some hair tips in the magazine Tendenzer..
And the snow came to Bergen, which made me so happy!
December
I enjoyed cold but fun days at home..
..before my mom, big sis and I went to Spain for a week’s holiday..
After a few days home I went to Manchester for work, and completely fell in love with the city.. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks!
Then it was Christmas time, and I had lots of fun on the annual Xmas party with the girls..
..and of course Christmas eve!
Puh, that was part two of my recap, and looking back I must say, it was an amazing year!! Once again, thank you so much for following me.
